El Segundo has no idea what he is talking about. Maybe his bottle got a bit to shaken on its way to Califoria. This beer is fantastic. A very flavorful porteresque brown.

Deep brown, little head. Sweet deep aroma, complex malty with hint of alcohol (port). Taste is roasty, sweet malty, with a pleasant hint of alcohol. Good body that finishes malty bitter. Very nice beer!

Good, very good. A thick brown ale almost tastes like a porter. P.S. I dig the purple label too. It truly is ’Art in Fermented Form’.

Funk introduced me to this unbelievable beverage and call me impressed. It is smooth from start to finish with a variety of chocolatety-alish overtones finished with just the right amount of hops. DELICIOUS!
