Pours a hazy straw color. Small white head that quickly went away. Sweet smell. Bland, thin and nothing really to descibe. Slight metallic taste.

Aug 2, 2008 12 oz. bottle at Flat Rock Saloon. Poured golden with skimpy white head. Herbal, slightly skunky flavor. Light, grassy flavor. Wouldn’t have purchased if I knew it was a Kolsch. Meh.

Jul 27, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a hazy straw color with no head. Aroma is very light, with hints of grass, grain, citrusy hops, and a bit of malt. Taste is light and crisp, with a very earthy initial flavor of grass and grain giving way to a sweeter lingering finish of honey and hops. Little flavor to speak of, but nothing much to speak against.

Jul 27, 2008 A somewhat light aroma with hints of citrus, apricot, and coriander. Its body is a suitably light golden color with a thin, wispy head.
Sadly, its flavor ends up being almost too light - wheat and lemon come through a touch on the finish, but nothing particularly memorable.
It would be a nice addition to a summer BBQ or for a sunny day at the beach.

Jul 16, 2008 Bottle: Clear golden in color with a white head. Smells of light grassy fruit with a standard lagerish metallic funk as well. Crisp and refreshing, easy on the palate. Good beer for the summer.

Jul 13, 2008 Draft, Baja Bean, Staunton VA. Light straw color with white head. Aromas of hay, honey, lemon, and metal. Flavor is mostly light grain, mildly sweet, with grassy hops keeping it balanced throughout. Finish is clean and citrusy. Light and crisp on the palate, this was very tasty!
