sneagrams3 (1453), St. Louis, Missouri, USA May 16, 2008 Tasted 4/28/08. 12oz bottle. Still under the name Full Circle but whatever. Filtered with a golden hue. Moldy white head. Grainy corny nose. Nice yeast character. Floral and sugary. Crisp with low acidity. Slight effervescence. Rounded and blended. Mildly sticky. Touch honey flavor. Moderate grainy flavor. Well done.
jcwattsrugger (4045), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Sep 23, 2008 @ Michigan Beerfest-on tap-pours a foamy white head and yellow color. Aroma is spice/perfume/grass, continental hops, grain/wheat. Taste is pepper/spice/perfume/grass, continental hops, grain/wheat. OK effervescence. BeerBaron617 (153), Novi, Michigan, USA Sep 23, 2008 Well, I basically bought this solely on the name, and brand, as I’ve had a number of good brews from New Holland, but this was less than impressive. The best way to describe this beer is a glorified Budwieser. It’s skunky, and has a lot of malty and yeasty notes. I guess if you like those qualities in a beer, then you would like this, but it definitly is not for me. TURDFERGUSON (1153), Carrboro, North Carolina, USA Aug 26, 2008 Bottle. Decided I wanted to chug a beer and this was my best option. This is an easy drinking kolsch. Yes, most kolsch beers are easy drinking, but some taste like ass. This one does not. Not offputting in any way, but nothing memorable to stop me from chugging it. Crisp mouthfeel. agl108 (367), Manayunk, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 2, 2008 12 oz. bottle at Flat Rock Saloon. Poured golden with skimpy white head. Herbal, slightly skunky flavor. Light, grassy flavor. Wouldn’t have purchased if I knew it was a Kolsch. Meh. WallyWalrus (175), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA Jul 27, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a hazy straw color with no head. Aroma is very light, with hints of grass, grain, citrusy hops, and a bit of malt. Taste is light and crisp, with a very earthy initial flavor of grass and grain giving way to a sweeter lingering finish of honey and hops. Little flavor to speak of, but nothing much to speak against.
