biggenius29 (155), Hamilton, Michigan, USA Apr 2, 2007 Bottle. Pours with a average white creamy head. The lacing is good leaving a film up the glass throughout the whole beer. The head sticks around the whole time. The body is very light yellow. The aroma is that of light bread and cereal, followed by light spicy hop notes. The taste starts off kind of with a sweet grainy taste followed with a spicy finish on the back of the tounge. The body is very light with a dry, crisp finish and soft carbonation. A very good session beer, one that has great flavor for the experienced drinker, yet light enough for the BMC crowd. It is a very good replacement to Full Circle. Yet I sure will miss Paleooza. shalloWMeans (128), Florence, Kentucky, USA Jun 11, 2007 Updated: Jun 17, 2008I am a very big fan of kolsch style beers, especially during the summer. This one was definitely impressive. It poured with a nice lacy head and had aromas of fresh grass and honey. The taste was spectacularly smooth and refreshing, again with grassy hops and a nice artichoke-like bittersweetness. Overall, I liked it, yup. WorldClassJB (3), Greencastle, Indiana, USA does not count Jun 25, 2007 This Kolsch style beer was a surprise to my taste buds. Lucid has a spicy bite but refreshing enough to drink in the heat of summer. Great beer to have on board when fishing for trout in Arkansas. Crisp taste with a hint of lemon. A fantastic replacement for those who are tired of the same old macro beers. dryfuseprop (6), USA does not count Aug 31, 2007 Seems kind of strong for a Koelsch. I was told that Koelsch in Germany is what the women prefer as it is lighter. However, this is 5.8% alcohol... walter (357), Staunton, Virginia, USA Jul 13, 2008 Draft, Baja Bean, Staunton VA. Light straw color with white head. Aromas of hay, honey, lemon, and metal. Flavor is mostly light grain, mildly sweet, with grassy hops keeping it balanced throughout. Finish is clean and citrusy. Light and crisp on the palate, this was very tasty!
