Is insanely dry hopped with Centennial Hops. This pale copper colored ale has a flowery hop aroma and a bold hop bitterness. Hop Heads Only Please!

Hazy amber with a foamy head and lacing. Very nice hop profile, backed with nice malts. Liking the hops in the flavors. The malts blend in rather well. Citrus is nice and upfront with lemon and grapefruit. Very nice IPA.

Pours amber with a nice creamy head. Aromas of light malt, heavy hops, lemon, and very piney/resiny. The odor reminds me of Dogfish 90 minute IPA. Finishes very hoppy, with a smooth, resiny, piney, slightly citrus burst at the finish. An ass- kicking IPA.

UPDATED: APR 7, 2005 toasty, hoppy aroma. dry, piney, lemon citrus flavor. lots of hops. pleasant bitterness. reminds me of sierra nevada pale ale. a little watered down in the finish. UPDATE 1/12/05: doughy malt backbone that’s still a bit thin--perhaps stale? nice citrus hop though. still good! downrated, though. UPDATE 4/7/05: no rating change, but i wanted to note that i just had a hazed and infused by rockies brewing and this beer reminds me of it.

4/9/04: Bottle.
Heavy, piney hop aroma with a tinge of grapefruit. Orange-brown body with a slightly dirty-white colored head. Lacing. Plenty of hops to taste. Pine tree with a bit of lemon. Long bitter finish.

On tap. Light orange colored with little head. Strong citrus hop aroma. Flavor is crisp with a lasting bitterness. Weak malt and hop flavor profile. Thin palate is a little disappointing. A good American IPA.

**Sampled at Piccadilly Beverage Shops with Zach in Champaign** poured a really light pale gold. The smell was crisp with some floral hops. Flavor is like a pale ale taken down a notch as opposed to up on a notch on the hop scale like an IPA should be. The hops are nowhere in the neighborhood of good IPAs like Bell's Two Heart, Dreadnaught, or Avery IPA. The mouthfeel is thin and uneventful. The drinkability is high because while it is not too hoppy it is also not offensive. I think it should also be noted that this brew does not live up to the hype printed on its own packaging, it appears New Holland is very, very proud of themselves.

Poured a super hazy orange color with a nice ring of bubbles around the edge. Aroma of cinnamon(?!?), but then the usual citrus hop aroma. Taste did not live up to the aroma, it was a rather weak citrus hop taste. Overall the taste was a bit of a disappointment, nothing overly special here... but it is hazier than any other IPA i've seen.

Hey, now here's an American I.P.A that has balance! Hops are firm and ever-present without being overpowering. This beer could have a bolder malt but it is not watery.

This is a very hoppy beer. It's not quite up there with Alpha King, but it is close. It has a hazy coppery color. If you hold it up to light you can see the sediment. It smells good, tastes good, and finishes good. Overall, I like this beer alot. It would be a little better if it had a little more malt to balance it. Put it this way, if you like hoppy beer you will love it.

Nice one- Quite decently hoppy, without getting to that weird cigarrette taste that too much hops can sometimes bring.
