COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Is insanely dry hopped with Centennial Hops. This pale copper colored ale has a flowery hop aroma and a bold hop bitterness. Hop Heads Only Please!

Big hoppy nose, copper color with average head. Big hops up front, but the middle was rather weak. It was almost like it was missing something. Huge hop bitters on the finish. Nothing really stood out on this beer. Average IPA

Middle of the road IPA. Typical amber color, lots of sediment, small white head. Citrus hop aroma and taste. Not overpowering but very drinkable.

On-Tap:Color is a dark amber coppery color with a thin off-white head that lays flat and smooth and fades slow to some whispy lacing. Smell has a nice hop mix of dried grapefruit rinds, nice little earthy, herbal note to its approach and the malts float in the back of a roasted light caramel. Taste has a good chunk of hops, bittering of a grapefruit peel, with some piney dried senses going for it and a bit of floral/herbalness thats nice with some lingering juicyness all playing around and way over the malt backing, more so then needed so its balance is a pretty heavy load of bitterness and souring. Solid medium body feel, lots of bitterness, sweet, semi-smooth and the finish has more hoppy tingey tangedness that lingers. Pretty decent IPA and was quite a nice little surprise.

A bit reserved for an IPA. Nice copper body with a soapy heady that clung nicely to the glass even after fading. The aroma was fairly malty with a thin sheen of hop aromas. The hops were equally modest in the flavor, although I could pick out some slight grapefruit notes under the malt. The flavor was dominated by the malts and a nice yeasty fruitiness that seems to make pale ales just a little more satisfying. The malt profile was surprisingly similar to Dogwood's Pale Ale, and the low levels of hopping for style made it seem more appropriate as a hoppy version of an English Pale Ale (which is what the Dogwood beer claims to be) instead of the IPA listed on the label. The malt is mostly notes of caramel, wood and a bit of graininess. Slightly bready. Tasty and easy-drinking, but can't really pass for an IPA.

Floral nose, orange/amber color. Chunks floating about. Citrus hoppy taste with a bitter finish. Not way over the top with hops but nice drinkin'.

Copper hue with floaties, small head and good lacing. Piney, grapefruit, flowers, toasted malt, yeast aroma. Chewy mouthfeel in a nedium-bodied brew. Nice middle of the road hoppu IPA. The floaties didn't distract me.

Hazy copper body topped by a small beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit complemented by pine and light floral. Taste is grapefruit bitter for the most part, but floral/earthy bitterness shows up at the end. Medium body, bit of chewiness. It's a good beer, but there's not enough malts backing the hops, and not enough of a hop monster to overcome the malt shortcomings.

Rebadged as the House brew at the Stray Dog Tavern in New Buffalo, MI. Bronze in collor with a minimal head and a powerful first hop aroma. A very bitter and hoppy brew that was an utter shock as most "house beers" are pretty tame and lame. The beer finishes clean and fresh with a sufficient malt back to complement the huge dose of "C" hops. Really tasty.

More malt than hop, a little disappointing. Unfiltered with plenty of yeast floaties. A short lived thin head, just not what I was hoping for from an IPA. I really need the hops.

underhopped for the style, bunch o crap floating about even with a careful pour, aroma was awful, but it tasted fine, but nothing i'd buy again.
