Is insanely dry hopped with Centennial Hops. This pale copper colored ale has a flowery hop aroma and a bold hop bitterness. Hop Heads Only Please!

Bottle.A bit confusing...this has a slightly different name, label and alcohol content but...oh well. Beer has a nice ruby orange color and a thin off-white head. I like the aroma...sweet and spicy grapefruit. Flavor is much the same... sweet honey and lemon at first with a hoppy grapefruit twang and finally a mild sweet and sour aftertaste on the tongue. Not as much kick as some higher rated IPA but it is refreshing

Bottle from Brook Falls Discount - how have I not rated before? Orangey pour with a ring of a white head leaving some spotty lace. Aroma has floral hops, light fruits and pine. Taste is of sweet caramel, some pine and some fruitiness. Medium bodied without much alcohol presence. Perhaps a touch lowly carbonated. Finishes heavily to the sweet side of bittersweet. Shrug? Have had over the years many times, and between Founders Centennial and this one, these bigger SW Mich brewers need to get a good West Coast IPA. Centennial is solid and old-style, but not made for an IPA in this century. 13.2

Bottle from SB. Golden colour, just a slight slight haze, medium white frothy head. Sweet hoppy aroma with honey caramel and flowers, peach, mango, pine, cookies and some alcohol warmth. Taste is also honey sweet and hoppy with vanilla crackers, citrus, peach, mango and pine needles. It’s pretty balanced and drinkable, despite some alcohol bite and heavy bitterness. Medium to bigger body, soft carb, oily texture. Nice. I like it. Well executed and quite drinkable.

Bottle at GBBF 2015. Cheers James. It pours lightly hazy amber with a decent white head. The nose is bitter-sweet, toasted grass, grapefruit, creaminess and custard apple. The taste is crisp, bitter, earthy, toasted grass, cereal, minerals, grapefruit, floral and light spice with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Crisp and easy-going. Comes together quite nicely.

GBBF Day 1. Bottle share. Thank you whoever opened this. Hazy amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is light and airy with good fine carbonation. Sweetish malts, some caramel - toffee. Lovely peach and mango, hop spice accentuated. Resinous orange and tropical fruits. More hop spice on the smooth finish. Rather lovely.

Bottle at GBBF 2015. Hazy amber lasting beige head. Grapefruit aroma. Fresh pink grapefruit. OK in mouth. Some light pepper. Harsh bitter finish. OK up front leafy tannin. Some bitter finish. I mean it’s in your face full on. Big and harsh. Jjju

Crisp fresh taste, not overly bitter. Light refreshing body. Dry finish, long lingering bitter aftertaste. Mixed hop aroma of floral and pine. Drinkable but i prefer the tasmanian version.

Draught @ Ginger Man. Slightly hazy dark orange with small off-white creamy head, faint floral hops aroma, medium carbonation, slightly watery hoppy taste, floral flavor remaining after a longish finish. Nice though a bit watery.

Pours a medium amber color with off-white head. Floral notes and some citrusy pine on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes smooth for an IPA.

Nice floral aroma and a spicy, slightly resiny hopping. A fairly bold IPA that clocks in at a reasonable 5.25%, very nice.
