COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer has a golden colored body with a creamy white head. Its slightly sweet malt flavor makes up the base and offers a supporting role to the refreshing hop profile. Cascade hops provide a floral, citrus and almost fruity character to this well balanced easy drinking ale. Back by popular demand, “Paleooza” is an old favorite and an early original in our portfolio of great beers! 14°

12 ounce bottle. Some caramel and bread. Light hops. Bit of citrus. Definitely something you could drink a lot of in the summer.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. This beer’s 150th rating. Pours a hazy amber color with a thin frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of caramel malts, floral hops and some nutty notes. The taste is herbal, floral hops, stone fruits, toffeeish malts. Medium bodied, decent balance. Decent beer.

Taste is floral hops, grains, soft malt notes, earthy hops, light citrus and light, spicy hops. Body is medium with a soft, creamy carbonation. More grains, toasted malt, light fruit notes, floral hops and earthy hops during the finish.

Bottle. Light barley malt, orange peel, and gunpowder (there’s a descriptor I’ve never used before) aroma. Golden yellow with large head. Sweet caramel and mildly bitter orange peel/burnt carbon flavor. Got to say it’s unique and pretty good to boot.

polomagnifico (1202) - Saginaw, Michigan, USA - APR 4, 2013
Bottle. Aroma has notes of caramel and cereal malts with some citrus hops. Medium amber hue with an average off-white head that mostly diminished and left good lace. Flavor is heavy sweet and bitter. Palate is medium bodied and watery average. Overall an okay pale ale.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 2/15/2013. Pours moderately cloudy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with plenty of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of orange zest, grapefruit, peach, lemon zest, floral, light pine, caramel, biscuit, and light nuttiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of hop and malt notes. Taste of orange zest, grapefruit, pine, lemon zest, floral, caramel, biscuit, light nuttiness, and floral earthiness. Moderate pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, pine, floral, caramel, biscuit, and floral earthiness on the finish for a bit. Very nice complexity of hop and malt flavor; with a great hop/malt flavor balance; and zero cloying flavors present after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a lightly creamy, crisp, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with hardly any warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a very nice pale ale. Nice hop/malt balance and complexity; very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small white head. Nose is almost nonexistent. Taste is very light and pale - slightly bitter, but that’s more of an afterthought. Drinkable, but nothing remarkable.

Bottle. Great hoppy aroma, a beer’s beer. Pours a slightly cloudy amber/orange. Bitter finish. Pretty good.

12oz bottle. Clear amber - orange color. Mildly hazy with lots of fine particles suspended in the glass. Thin off-white head. Good lace. Medium body. Good smooth, crisp, lighter carbonation. Mostly dry overall. Satisfying amount of citrus, floral hops. Light caramel malts, bit toasty. Bitter, sweet taste. Satisfyingly drinkable and hoppy pale ale.

Bottle. Pours a clear light golden orange color with a big foamy white that fades slowly, leaves great lacing. Aroma is very grassy and floral with hints of citrus fruit. Taste is fresh grassy and floral hops also but the fruitiness is more present than in the aroma. Very light sweetness, moderate bitterness. Pale, biscuity malt in the finish to go with the floral hops. I’d drink this again, nice solid pale ale.
