5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
This is my favorite beer right now, perfect balance of bitter and malt. The definition of a Michigan IPA.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark dull copper pour with fair ’cracked desert’ white head remnants. Slightly sweet malty caramel nose gives way to a surprisingly well balanced citrus floral hop presence. Very sessionable with just the right amount of carbonation and quaffability. For a pale ale, it’s right up my alley!

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A run of the mill APA. Not bad by any means, but very average. Aroma was decent. Sweet grains, fresh cut grass. Pour was a nice medium gold with a thin off white ring for a head. Taste was average. Tastes like the millions of other pale ales out there. Perfect balance of grassy green hops and sweet caramel malt. Nice carbonation. Good any time beer but not very impressive.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Clear, golden color, light head. Hop nose but balanced with some malty sweetness. Lots of bitterness in the taste and the finish lingers. Overall a good flavorful pale.

1.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Pours a slightly-cloudy off-orange with a thick head from a bottle. Nose is sour like a lager, alcohol. Flavor is also the same - is it bad? Yow.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Prototypical amber-orange presentation, with a standard, rocky head of off-white foam. The aroma is of righteous, American hops. This drinks with a nice floral character, well balanced and very drinkable. (#5083, 6/27/2013)

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce bottle. Floral malt aroma. Dark copper color and heavy lacing. Yeasty, malty and carrying a macro taste impression. Mouthfeel is sorta watery, light side of medium. Overall it’s drinkable and good enough to finish all 12 ounces, but not a standout by any means.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle from a 4pack from Wine Academy after Nolan’s Graduation. Poured a good looking orange bronze body with steady effervescence and and an average sized foamy white head. Aroma has a slight honey sweetness with some warmth, dry citrus, grains and toast. Medium bodied with average carbonation and a dry finish. Flavor is mostly grains, cereal, dry biscuit, some super dry orange rind. Meh it’s okay but not blown away.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Floral-tinged but mostly citric Cascade, with grapefruit and orange peel, caramel and a touch of spice. Transparent but dark copper-orange body with a sudsy white head. Taste is very sweet with citrus and less caramel/pine, watery light body that’s a shade or two above flat. Has the nice soapy/cleansing quality, light bitterness.
