3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours a light amber. Lightly floral on the nose. Really good attempt at a balanced APA, mixing malt and hops, but could have used a slight injection of some further hops. Some bitterness, intertwined with caramel. Nice.

I’m not a fan of dancing bears but a huge fan of Lollapaloozer. New Holland’s dancing bear label and ’Paleooza’ name had me conflicted even before I opened the beer. The beer itself was a good representation of an APA, light golden color, generous amount of floral hops and a foamy head.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Poured a hazy medium amber with a towering initial white head... took about 7 minutes to pour, and there was still a creamy cap after about 20 minutes. Nose picked up citrus fruitage (lemon and orange zest), floral hops, and sweet, pale malts... but the aroma was a bit on the weak side. Crisp, clean, hoppy mouthfeel with moderate bitterness throughout. Hoppy orange and grapefruit flavors with a lighter malt backbone. Finish was long, fruity, and quite pleasant.

355ml brown bottle, shared with gilvanblight. Poured cloudy orange with a thin white head. Fruity aroma, floral hops and oranges. Hop flavour jumps right out, malty base. Well hopped finish with long lingering bitterness. Medium body and carbonation.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
This draft brew from the brewery poured a small head of foamy fine to medium sized mostly diminishing bubbles that left behind a softly carbonated transparent light orange brown colored body and a fair lacing. The aroma was a simple mild malt hop one. The mouth feel was tingly from start to finish with a tingly hop feel. The flavor mostly crisp clean hops.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A nice, straightforward American Pale. Well balanced malt and hop in the aroma and the flavour, a little light, a little bit of depth. My batch was metallic at first until aging mellowed it a bit, otherwise I might rate it higher.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at NHBC. Poured a small off-white head that mostly diminished, fine-small sized bubbles, fair lacing, transparent, minimal carbonation, and a yellow gold hue. Malty, hoppy nose and ditto for the flavor. Palate was tingly and hoppy.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear orange to deep golden. The had if white, foamy and small, but lacing a nice impression. Aromatic cascade make for a very floral, but also oangey, grapefruity. Minty undertones procures a welcome leafyness. Dry and hoppy with mellow toasted malts backing. Fruity, light bodied and drinkable, though in a rather sour fashion, lightly yeast at that on top of citric. Far from complex, but very clean and an unpretentious hard-worker to quench the thirst. Soft bodied, fitting medium carbonation. Unspectacular, but good.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottled. Light brown pour under a thick bumpy head. Has a pleasing APA smell, malty and a tad hoppy, with no off smells in this 4+ month old bottle. Dandy hoppy taste, with pine and pineapple at work on top of a toasty malt base. A nice peppery burn going down sums up to make this a fine drinking experience. I may be over-rating this beer, but frankly I can’t see why not.
