COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer has a golden colored body with a creamy white head. Its slightly sweet malt flavor makes up the base and offers a supporting role to the refreshing hop profile. Cascade hops provide a floral, citrus and almost fruity character to this well balanced easy drinking ale. Back by popular demand, “Paleooza” is an old favorite and an early original in our portfolio of great beers! 14°

Poured from a bottle into a tulip: Poured dark golden with uncontrollable foam. Aroma of pure sugar and a bit of nut and caramel. Taste is incredibly sweet caramel malt and little else. Cloyingly sweet, must be a bad bottle. Has to be, right?

On tap at Eli Cannons in a shaker. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of floral and lightly citrusy hops, some pale malts and light caramel notes, and some dough. Flavor the same. Average texture. Not bad but not the best.

Pours slightly hazy amber with a thick and frothy dirty buff head. Malty aroma has a strong, woody hop overtone, more IPA than PA. Flavor is malty, hoppy and a little fruity, a bit washed out but still refreshing. Body leaves a bit to be desired, but fizz is firm and somewhat persistent.

12 oz bottle purchased at HyVee in West Des Moines, Iowa as a single. L194 stamped on bottle. The pour is a hazed golden orange with a smallish dirty white head. The aroma is orange citrus and apricot fruit along with fresh cracker malt underneath the hops. The taste is the fruit citrus hop along with a bit of earth and mineral cracker malt in the finish. The palate is medium to light bodied with soft natural carbonation and the mineral finish. Solid Pale Ale.

cloudy orange full of microscopic particles, thin pure white head. Wonderful aroma: citris, Cascade hops, pinecones, and cotton candy. A lot of hop flavor, moreso than I was expecting. Malt balance is most excellent, bringing an appreciated sweetness to the party. Moderately carbonated

Cloudy, brassy orange pour. Chunky off-white head. Sweet candied orange and tropical fruit in the nose. Taste is caramel malt, passion fruit, floral hops. Finishes slightly sticky, with lingering citrus. Decent.

12oz bottle. Cloudy orange color with big chunky head of large bubbles. Mild sweet and spicy aroma. The cascade presence is very mild and only noticable in the finish. Certainly easy to drink and good on a hot day like today.

Aroma - Honey, pale malts, sweet orange-like citrus, lemon. Faint floral hops. Appearance - Sticky, soapy white head. Clear, golden hue. Good looking beer. Taste - Chewy, sweet flavors (honey, ) followed perfectly by citrusy hops. Cereal and hoppy resin notes linger in the after taste. Great balance. Mouthfeel - Medium bodied, semi dry. Chewy body heightens the experience. Overall - Fine example of the style, would certainly have again.

From a bottle. It has a lager "skunk" to the aroma which sneaks into the taste. It has some nice hop and malt character and is well-balanced. All in all a weak beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

[Bottle] Pours a bright golden color with a bit of haze to it. A fizzy head on top. Herbal hops, hay and grapefruit in the nose. Flavors of pine sap, lemon, grass, lighter fruits and citrus rind. The bitterness and flavor balance is good, but without much body to back it up. Thin and bitter finish. Tasting notes from 10/2014.
