Light brown body. Nose of Sherry cask. Oh dear God, this BW was TERRIBLE. Flavor is way wrong, rotten sherry cask and ick. I refuse to take another taste.

Bottle as shown. Pours a clear amber with a medium beige head. The aroma is oak and vanilla. Thin mouthfeel with light roasted malt and nice oak finish. A good barey wine from New Holland.

Dark amber pour with a white head. The aroma is very sweet with some grain, orange citrus, peaches, candy sugar and assorted spices. The flavor is very similar and equally complex. There is a lot of malty sweetness as well as some wheat and big, juicy orange citrus notes. There is also some peppery spice as well as some yeast and alcohol. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

11 oz draft. Reddish amber with nearly no head/lacing. Nose is fruit, vanilla, oak, bourbon. Flavor vanilla, dark cherry, caramel. Warming finish with a moderate bitterness. Interesting take on a barley wine. Good overall.

12oz bottle poured into glass. This was extremely boozy. Sitting on this for at least a year would definitely do it some good. That said, it most certainly has a rich creamy texture with a good amount of bourbon flavors in the aroma/flavor.

Comes out of the tap a clear mahogany with a thick, fine-bubbled wheat head that leaves some generous lacing. Malty aroma has a pineapple overtone and a note of horehound. Malty, fruity flavor has pineapple, orange and vanilla notes plus hints of horehound, cloves and caramel. Firm, fizzy texture leaves an enjoyable and flavorful finish. Make a pilgrimage for this one.

Bottle pour to snifter. Copper-amber color. Taste is heavy on the sweet malt with raisin and caramel aftertaste; an alcohol kick. It’s okay but I think it might improve with some aging.

Bottle at Ryan's shared with friends. Pour is crimson amber with a frothy off-white head and great lacing. Brown sugar, caramel, prunes, and raisins in th aroma. Very malt forward. Taste is big prunes, raisins, caramelized sugar, light grapefruit and bread but a bit boozy. Sticky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. A little too much alcohol present in this one and a bit unbalanced. Hmmmmm
