dp (488), uniontown, Ohio, USA Jul 4, 2008 the reddish hue and amber quality with malty after-taste add to the quality of this brew. has a metallic aftertaste, which is not expected,

Pours amber with little head. Aroma and tastes are of caramel malt and toffee. Not my favorite NH beer.
aaaaaaaaaah (7), Dearborn, Michigan, USA does not count Sep 30, 2008 Smooth easy to drink a lot of. Sweet earthy and floral flavor. Finishes with roasted coffee and slightly hoppy aftertaste. Pronounced stage beer. Flavors compliment each other well. MrBunn (892), Western, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 27, 2008 Bottle. Pours an almost brown amber with a little bit of a head that is gone before I get back upstairs from the fridge. Aromas are dull... caramel malt - that’’s it. Flavor is pretty malt heavy, too. Caramel and maybe some fruit around the edges. Pretty good, but pretty plain. mephisto (1125), Taiwan Sep 20, 2008 pours red amber with a slight thin layer of beige head, it has caramel aroma with a hint of tea. it is malty, caramelly, and full bodied. doboy (88), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA Aug 31, 2008 Pours a dark amber, with a nice head that dies down way too quick. Nice lacing left though. Malty aroma is nice. Great mouthfeel, and though i get hints of cherry, the sweetness lends a bit of a chocolate hint. As it warmed, I got the aroma too!
