Commercial Description:
Ah, spring. It's the season that breathes new life into our beautiful landscape and puts a hop in our step. It has also inspired artists of all mediums for centuries.

One such artist was Lida Rogers, a schoolteacher in our hometown more than 75 years ago. Caught up in spring fever, Lida proposed planting tulips throughout the city in celebration of Holland's heritage. Her inspiration bloomed into a living work of art: Tulip Time. Today, Tulip Time is a world-class festival showcasing the Holland community as six million tulips blossom into an incredible homage to spring. Red Tulip Ale is a salute to the tulip, spring, and of course our dear Lida. A smooth and malty red ale, Red Tulip evokes spring's renewing spirit.

Deep and an incredible red hue with a boozy aroma - hints of banana and peach softly punctuate it. Gloriously smooth and nutty, it has a light minerality and hints of strawberry and malt. While certainly not the complex brew we’ve come to expect from New Holland, it’s drinkability and light flavor make it a fine everyday beer. Have with a barbequed pork loin and corn on the cob.

From bottle. Part of March Dayton Beertasting event. Pours amber with little head. Aroma and tastes are of caramel malt and toffee. Not my favorite NH beer.

Smooth easy to drink a lot of. Sweet earthy and floral flavor. Finishes with roasted coffee and slightly hoppy aftertaste. Pronounced stage beer. Flavors compliment each other well.

Bottle. Pours an almost brown amber with a little bit of a head that is gone before I get back upstairs from the fridge. Aromas are dull... caramel malt - that’’s it. Flavor is pretty malt heavy, too. Caramel and maybe some fruit around the edges. Pretty good, but pretty plain.

Pours a dark amber, with a nice head that dies down way too quick. Nice lacing left though. Malty aroma is nice. Great mouthfeel, and though i get hints of cherry, the sweetness lends a bit of a chocolate hint. As it warmed, I got the aroma too!
