COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sundog is an ale whose amber color is as deep as the copper glow of a Lake Michigan sunset. Its Biscuit malt and Fuggle hops give it a toasty character and a subtle, malty sweetness. We believe Sundog is the deepest, richest amber you’ll find anywhere.

Pours a dark copper with a thin head that never dissipates. Aromas of caramel, citrus, cut grass. The flavors are complex. Definite caramel and grapefruit up front with a hint of brown sugar. Malty, nutty finish with citrus notes and a whisper of pepper. Medium mouthfeel. Just a beautiful, well-made beer! As smooth and delightful as a sunset on a summer day. This one is a keeper!

12oz bottle. Attractive thick burgundy red-brown body, unfiltered. Respectably steady, foamy, off-white head. Big doughy malt tones. Not unlike a brown ale in some respects. Nutty. Kind of has an English feel to it. On the lighter side of full bodied. Pretty good.

I don’t know about this one. It looks right, but something doesn’t quite taste right. A little off. Caramel flavor throughout, really dry.
