markas101 (346), Fargo, North Dakota, USA Aug 20, 2008 33 cl bottle, Sault Ste Marie, MI. Amber colour, faint malt aroma with some forward hops. Almost creamy smooth on the first sip with a nice hop bite, and crisp finish. Very nice. BeerManBill99 (1), Muskegon, Michigan, USA does not count Jul 27, 2008 I was shopping and found this while shopping for some other brand. I was impressed. It compares favorably to more well known micro beers. LooseCannon (635), Norfolk, Virginia, USA Jul 25, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours cloudy amber in color with tan head. Aroma light hops, roasted malt and nutty. Taste bitter, roasted malt and nutty with bitter finish. The_Beer_God (2827), Newport News, Virginia, USA Jul 25, 2008 Bottle. Dark amber pour. Small white head. Nose is hoppy but sweet. Some fruit notes, hops, sweet malts, and spicy notes. The taste is made up of more spicy and earthy hops, light citrus, dried fruit, sweet malts, and light caramel. Body is medium with moderate carbonation. Chewy in spots. Ends with more spicy and earthy hops, soft citrus, fruits, caramel, and some nuttiness. Elizavyeta (101), Minnesota, USA Jul 19, 2008 A bright and yeasty aroma with hints of pith, clove, and rye. A gorgeous burnt-orange color with a frothy head (albeit one that takes a long time to settle!).
Actual beer is surprisingly refreshing with vibrant and long-lasting citrus and hops notes.
Would do nicely with a grilled bratwurst and grill fries on a hot summer afternoon.
