12oz pour. Thick luscious lasting tan head with good lacing that masks much of the aroma of dark chocolate, coffee. Deep brown, not quite motor oil. Taste is thick, cream, hefty malt, dark chocolate, mild coffee, and an extremely subtle hint of booze in the finish. Mocha flavors become more apparent the warmer it gets and farther into the glass you get. Deliciously complex without overpowering and fairly filling. One of my favorite dark beers.

Opaque, black-brown with a creamy, tan head and excellent lacing.
Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla. dark roasted coffee, toffee and yeast.
Taste of dark roasted coffee, roasted malt, charcoal, chocolate and caramel.
Medium/full body and medium/low carbonization.

Bottle thanks to artmcd8. Poured almost black with thin beige head. Nice choco malt aroma. Pretty smooth slightly bitter.

Pours a dark brown to black. Sweet malty aroma. Thick mouthfeel with a dryish bitter finish.

Draft pour very dark brown to back. Nose of some roast and toffee. Taste roast, coffee, but more so chocolate. A malty roasted finish. Decent bitterness throughout.

Deep red brown with medium tan head. Aromas of alcohol, hazelnut, light smoke, and oats. The flavor is lightly sweet, but doesn’t linger. The body is lighter and with a foam feel. Seems to be on the lighter side for a stout, closer to a porter or a brown.
