3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Black with white head. Nice rich aroma with some roast and chocolate. Rich malty flavor with good roast. Medium-full bodied, but lacked the slickness usually associated with oats. Overall nice.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Very smooth and has a definite oat flavor profile. Not very burnt, more sweet than anything. Good example of the genre, but not outstanding. Also, I get a hint of licorice.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Mild nose with hints of the usual coffee and chocolate. Maybe a slightly smokey aroma as well. Pour was a beautiful clear black with a short lived small head. Light and mild flavor would make this a good first stout for a confirmed macro drinker. Lots of bubbles, smooth finish, nice burps :>). Plesant and easy to drink.

Not as rich as I was expecting for a stout. Otherwise, it was a pretty decent drink.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle (not poured in a glass.) Since I drank mine from the bottle, I couldn’t get much of it’s nose to come out, so I’ll rate it a 6 as that seems to be the average. Same for the appearance. The flavor is nuts, toffee, maybe a little raisin hiding in the back and dark chocolate on the finish. I loved this beer, but it may have been a bit weak for what it is.

Deep, dark brown, nearly black. Tastes of coffee blended with sweet caramel. Another new favorite.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at home. Pours a rich dark near mahogany with a very thin head of loose off-white bubbles. Smells of roasted nuts and caramel with light hints of vanilla. A smooth sweetness with a slight hint of sourness. The mouthfeel is airy and creamy with little carbonation. It finishes long and smooth.
