Draft at Mudville 9 NYC. White Belgian ale. Taste is like a white iPa with a lint of lemon. Very good ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From the bottle. Pours a cloudy copper with a big white head. Yeasty aroma with citrusy hop notes. Nice witbier malt flavoring. Light IPA flavoring with a resin like aftertaste. Head coats the glass nicely. Overall good beer and interesting mix of styles.

Tasted from bottle. Color is a cloudy gold with white head. Aroma is sour yeast and citrus. Taste is lemon, grass, pine and floral hops. Mild sweetness with moderate bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. I'd say this beer is average overall. It's a combination of a witbier and IPA and that just doesn't quite work for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Mondial, a cloudy copper beer almost without head and yeast floating. Nose is on grassy hops and agrume, light honey touch. Aroma is on yellow fruit, grapefruit, light acidity, some resin, quite bitter at the finish with again fruit touch.

Pours hazy rust with very little head. Nose is oranges, citrus, floral hops. Very smooth mouthfeel. Taste is citrus, spicy herbal notes, not much bitterness. Has the mouthfeel of a white, with a little space from a pale. Not overly flavorful, just decent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle painted with C043, meaning this was bottled March 4th 2013. Poured into a shaker pint on May 29th. Appearance: A super hazy orange color with a good amount of chunkification. Two finger head doesnít last long, even with an aggressive pour. Lacing is okay. Smell: I almost pick nothing out of this. A very slight trace of coriander, clove, pale malts, and the Belgian-y yeast, but itís hard to pick up. Doesnít smell bad, but not much going on. Taste: Eh... I donít know. I wasnít thinking that Iíd love this one because I was told it tasted a good bit like a Witbier, which Iím not a big fan of, and I was pretty much right. I do like that itís not too heavy on the banana/clove/coriander notes that are typical in a Witbier, but Iím still not loving it. It drinks like a light Wit or even a Hefe, but with the same amount of ABV. Just not much going on here. The light banana and malt flavor almost gives this beer a Play Doh sort of taste, but it manages to stay drinkable. Aftertaste has Belgian yeasty tastes, and the burps taste of hops. I havenít had anything that Iíve truly *REALLY* enjoyed from New Holland, and White Hatter is no different. Itís a decent beer, but itís not all that interesting or memorable.
