Bottle. Cloudy straw body, medium-thick off-white head. Grassy nose with coriander and herbal/floral hops. Spicy body, hoppy with tropical fruit notes and hay; perfumey and floral. Interesting but tiresome after a few ounces.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber from Once Upon a Vine. Pours a slightly hazy yellow color with a medium sized fizzy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of citrus, sweet wheat and herbal notes. The taste is wheat, citrus and herbal hops. Spicy finish. Medium bodied and refreshing. A simple but nice beer. My negative opinion of New Holland is starting to change.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
I REALLY like this one, a lot more than I expected. From a bottle, pours a slightly hazy, pale hay with no real head. Aroma is citrusy hops and belgian, bready yeast. Taste is an excellent blend of spicy, citrusy (lots of lemon), and yeast. It’s a changing tastes too, and goes in the above order before all settling together on the tongue. It doesn’t last too long on the palate though. Excellent summertime addition to this always great series.

On tap at the Shark Club, Howell, MI...an earthy, funky Belgian hybrid and an interesting and outstanding addition to the ’Hatter’ line-up.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
A barely hazy golden beer and a small white head with good retention. The aroma is a nice blend of fruity Belgian yeast and spices. The flavor is very floral and quite bitter with some funk and spice.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pour is a hazy yellow with a large white head. Aroma has a deffinate hop to it. I also get some spice and clove. Flavor is some corriander, tropical fruit and a decent hoppy backbone. A decently hopped wit.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: pours cloudy yellowish orange, frothy bright white head. Nose is Belgian yeast, coriander, spices, clove, grapefruit hops and faint lemon. Interesting nose. Once on the tongue, lemon, yeast, grapefruit hope and some spicy notes. A bit thin but quite drinkable. Interesting take on one of my favorite new styles.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours hazy orange with a medium soapy white head. Smells hoppy, like orange peel or perhaps grapefruit, and coriander, and Belgian yeast. Taste is bitter, citrus, has some spice, and has hints of tropical fruits to it. Medium-bodied with a smooth, creamy texture and mild mouth-carbonation, New Holland White Hatter finishes quite bitter for a "white pale ale."
