3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bomber bottle bought 6/12 from Binny’s for $4.99. Does pour hazy, pale and cloudy (yeah, a little redundancy over there). Carries a nice, malty smell slightly tempered by hop and, I think, anise. Taste is malt forward, with hop notes only slightly behind. Citrus hops, with lemongrass in the spice sachet, and maybe that’s the usual coriander. Yeah, a slight touch of soap or lavender at the end. Still, I can’t help but find this interesting.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber. Pours a cloudy, golden color with a very thin white head. Aroma: Soft combination of citrus and floral hops with a hint of doughy yeast. Taste: Toned down floral hops, sourdough with lemon grass tones. A bit of a sour, soapy taste lingers. More towards a watery texture with average carbonation. An interesting tasting combination but not something I need to have again.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice strong bright white head of fine bubbles. Yeasty aroma with some oranges, wheat, lemon grass and some soft grains. Color is a milky gold. Good helping on hops in this brew provides a nice strong bitterness from the first swallow. Lots of citrus and grapefruit along with more wheat which lends to a chalky mouthfeel. Lingering bitterness with some lemon. A very hopped up witbier. Interesting style combination.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: JUN 15, 2013 Shared at my bros house on labor day. Hazy straw yellow pour with ample bright white head. Nose and flavor of Orange zest and coriander and citrus. But not as much as a hefe. Great citrus hop profile compliments nicely. Very effervescent. Good stuff. EDIT: however, sampled side by side with Heavy Sease Riptide and Great Divide Heyday, this was my least favorite. It was the most bitter of the group and the least refreshing.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rating: Bomber: Aroma is nicely hoppy, with the gum ball, coriander and orange zest scent mixed in like most Belgians. Appearance is a cloudy orangish/ golden color with a thick white head that diminishes quickly. Taste has got a more of a pungent lemon zest note to it, and a nice hop texture mixed into it. Bright, medium to low carbonation on the tongue. Basically, it’s what it is. A hopped up Witbeir. Overall, Decent but not stupendous. Cheers!

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Seems to have a lot orange zest in the aroma. Med body. Belgian yeast/spice and lots of orange zest in the flavor. Orange oil even. Has much more character than many wits. Nice.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pours golden with a fading off-white head and a fruity aroma. There is a sweetish yeasty pale malt flavor that turns dry and more bitter at the finish.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, 2012 vintage(June release). Pours hazy golden amber color with a nice 1-2 finger fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice foamy lacing clings to the glass. Aromas of big lemon, orange peel, grapefruit, pepper, wheat, coriander, herbal, and yeast spiciness. Fantastic aromas with great strength and balance. Taste of lemon, pepper, clove, orange zest, herbal, wheat, earth, floral, coriander, grapefruit, and yeast spices. Lingering notes of citrus, pepper, coriander, wheat, clove, earth, floral, and yeast spices on the finish for a good bit. Medium high carbonation and medium body; with a slightly sticky and quite crisp mouthfeel that is very nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with pretty much no warming noticed after the finish as expected. Overall this is a fantastic Belgian White. Awesome balance of hops flavor, spices, and yeast character; and extremely crisp and smooth to drink. Fantastic, and I really did not expect it to be as good as it was. A welcomed surprise.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
750 mL bottle. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of citrusy, floral hops and bubble gum yeastiness. Flavor leads strongly with hops in the areas of grapefruit, pine resin, herbal, kind of a soapy quality to them, with wheat and yeast playing a more supporting role. A rather nice combination.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft. Poured hazy copper color with a large fizzy brown head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate sour citrus, spice aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium spice citrus flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.
