Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Wegmans Leesburg. It pours a hazy light orange with a short lived white head. The nose is definitely more Wit than White IPA. There is a good bit of yeast and citrus with just a touch of grass. The flavor offers no surprises. Lemon and orange peel, yeast, dough, and a little grassiness. Refreshing just not terribly dynamic. Light to medium body with prickly carbonation and a short finish.

Aroma is incredible. Assertive and very plesant, think baked bread, and some slightly cooked fruits, the hops come across as tropical fruits instead of pine. Taste is very good, a lot of banana toffee, and a fresh baked white bread. It is very good but I just feel like something is missing. Palate is nice too not perfect, but coats nicely. Overall a stellar beer!

Interesting. Nice wheat like flavor. Dry bitter finish. Could use some lemon or sweetness to cut the aftertaste, it’s a little harsh.

Bought a single at The Party Store. Straw color with a white head. Smells like belgian yeast, tastes like belgian yeast. I was hoping this would be a homerun since Mad Hatter is so great but it is very middle of the road. Maybe would try again. If I forgot that I tried it.

Hazy orange with thick short lived white head. Aroma of citrus, grass and a little yeast. Citrus taste leans toward grapefruit. Sweet and bitter. Not great, but pretty good.

Sample at Woodlands Tavern. The beer is a slightly hazed golden-orange color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus and floral hops. Light to medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, yeast and bready malt. The finish is sweet with an earthy yeast aftertaste. Decent all around.

bottle. pale gold with some suspended sediment and stable white fluffy head. citrusy aroma. zesty citrus and lemon with a dusty belgian yeast. a light body and a refreshing finish from the yeast. leaning more toward hoppy ipa than belgian wit.
