Kind of confused me, I got a six pack and one day I thought it had some nice Belgian ale qualities with just a little extra hops, but then the next time it seemed like a hoppy IPA with a hint of Belgian ale qualities.

Bottle. The pour is very light in color. The aroma is mostly that of a belgian, little hop aroma. The taste is not much if an ipa at all. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ Greg’s house picked up in the Midwest. Pours a somewhat hazy yellow orange appearance with a white head. A bit piney, spicy hoppy, citrusy, coriander, spiced aroma. Fairly spicy hoppy, herbal, light citrusy, a bitffloral flavor. Solid.

Appearance: hazy orange gold, with a creamy white head and decent lacing. Aroma: bright citrus hops assail the nose, followed by a subdued whiff of coriander, white pepper, and a bit of yellow rice. Taste: slightly sweet, with a pleasant wheaty twang and a hint of passion fruit, then citrus and floral hop bitterness floods the mouth. Finish: dry and suprisingly bitter, with the citrus hop notes competing with a bit of yeasty spice as it fades slowly. Notes: Definitely a White IPA by style, rather than a Belgian Ale as indicated here. I prefer my IPAs as IPAs, and my Belgian Whites as Belgian Whites. Even so, this was a decently-constructed beer with an effervescent and refreshing palate. NoVA Brewfest 2013.

Draft. Didn’t do a whole lot to get me excited about it but this isn’t one of my favorite style beers. Fruit, clove, wheat flavor/aroma. Has ok look and mouth feel

Poured from a bottle. Cloudy orange color with fluffy head. Belgian yeast, spice and hops in the aroma. Taste is somewhat sweet with lots of orange citrus coming through and nice hop bitterness. Medium bodied beer, smooth drinking. A really enjoyable Belgian IPA.

Fruity wheat nose. More fruit on palate also strong wheat flavor. Not getting the classic Belgium ale flavors but it is a solid brew.

Jabic (418) - Brigantine, New Jersey, USA - JUN 23, 2013
Ar: Soft cracker maltiness - a hints of lemon, peach, and clove. Ap: Golden and hazy - small off-white head with moderate retention. T: Lemon and rosy alcohol up front - some peach and citrus rind, with accents of clove, black pepper, and mossy hops - some odd sourness and acidity on the finish - very high bitterness. P: Light body with high carbonation - finish is dry. O: Decent stab at a hybrid style, but the bitterness is a bit too dominant and the odd sourness seems out of place (not the normal type of sour twang I expect in a wit).

Thin top coat is very durable. Light golden body. Flowery, hoppy aroma. Distinct but appealing. T: taste is also quite flowery.enjoyed but couldn’t drink a lot of this. Lightly bitter. Good medium carbonation. Soft and smooth. O: A distinct and unusual flowery PA.

Pours a cloudy orange with a fluffy white head, as expected, that dissipates quickly. Orange, coriander, and chamomile in the aroma. Light, crisp, and very refreshing. Mostly citrus fruit flavor, but piney hops come in at the end. Especially noticeable in the bitter finish. This is a sacchariferous and subtle beer, with balance from the hops to keep it from getting cloying. Clocks in at just 5.5% ABV, so several of these on a warm summer night would do quite well.
