3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
2013-06-02. Lightly hazy golden orange body, small white head. Aroma of fruit, grass, lemon grass, something Iím calling white pepper but probably isnít. Flavour is interesting - sweet pale malt and wear on first sip turns dry, fruity, moderate bitterness, whisper of white pepper? Smooth average bodied palate, modest carbonation. Could use just a touch more carbonation but the palate suits it. Enjoyable. Bottle at Mondial de la Biere 2013, Montreal

The taste is wheat, citrus and herbal hops. Spicy finish. Medium bodied and refreshing. A simple but nice beer. My negative opinion of New Holland is starting to change.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber. Poured hazy medium golden with a well-retained white head. The aroma picked up pineapple, white pepper, floral notes, and earthy wheat over mixed, lighter-skinned fruits and lesser bready notes. The flavor found pineapple, tart wheat, and floral notes throughout.. bready base.. somewhat muddled flavors from the hops and yeast.. finished bitter and grainy, with some earthy yeast too. Medium-bodied and well-carbonated on the palate.. the yeast and hops didnít always work well together in here.
