Sample at Woodlands Tavern. The beer is a slightly hazed golden-orange color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus and floral hops. Light to medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, yeast and bready malt. The finish is sweet with an earthy yeast aftertaste. Decent all around.

Pretty good hoppy nose complex with belgian yeast probably.Rich fruit pungency white peppery spice and floral.White tea.
Taste is good, with good body good complexity and very matching hops, very well blended flavor/complexity.I havent like any of the others from new holland much, and this style is one of my least favorate but this is pretty good to me.Its balanced and complex with a lot of good rounded flavors that blend well into a good taste.Grapefruit, some mild rhindyness.

Bottle. Nose of light white grains and a good deal of spice, most obviously coriander and orange peel, grains of paradise. Golden body with a thin white head. Taste is dry and very tart, grains of paradise taking the lead and followed by puckering floor cleanser. Slightly rubbery full body, hops are cleansing but there isn’t a ton to like there.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ChainGangGuy (4117) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - APR 12, 2013
Appearance: Pours a hazy, gold body with a smallish, brief, white head.
Smell: Soft, faintly toasted wheat malt notes and a touch of yeasty dough with the range of spices utilized here atop the floral, citrusy (in addition to the citrus peelings in the spice repertoire) hops.
Taste: Malted wheat in the fore with a thin sliver of sweetness and slight dough accent before the blitz of spices, hop flavor, and bitterness crackled over the tongue. Feels like there are a few too many members of the spice blend, then, when added to the resiny, leafy, citric hops, the flavor ends up a bit muddled and a bit medicinal. Drying, bitter, spicy finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation, modestly effervescent.
Overall: It’s a hopped up, overly spiced witbier.
