I poured this from a bomber into an imperial pint glass, foregoing my New Holland High Gravity Series tulip since it only holds eleven ounces and I was not sharing. It settles well, with a typical white ale cloudiness and pillow like white head. The aroma is mostly spice, coriander in particular, with resinous hop undertones. It is difficult to detect much else behind the strong spiciness, which also overwhelms the taste. The mouth feel is creamy and soft, presumably from the oats. While I do not plan to revisit this year’s edition, I may try it again next year in case the spice is dialed back.

12oz from total wine. Heavy on the spice and a bit of orange coming through later in the sip. Finish is a little sweet but not overly so. A bigger body that would make this work more in the fall but still a nice fruity refreshing drink.

At the brewpub. In the lets super hop every style of beer trend with US breweries this on works I thought. The yeasty fruity belgiany ness was tempered a bit by some piney herbal hops. Serving: Tap

bottle - This hazy, pale gold beer has an aroma of lemon, grapefruit, and wheat. The flavor is led by the hops bitterness but supported by ample sweet wheat malt flavor with some citrus. It’s moderately bitter and quite refreshing. Good.

Pours deep hazy gold into a tumbler. White head with medium retention recedes to coat surface. Dusty caramel aromas. Soft with sweet caramel, summer flowers and pumpkin (?) upfront turning to bitter earth in the lasting finish.

Draft to taster pours light hazy gold. Nose slight sour, clove, spice, hint of mineral. Taste spicy and floral, then sweet I early palate. Some grainy malt late. Spicy finish.

Draft that poured misty gold color with white head. Nice pleasant aroma, mŕlt, spice, mild hop. Flavor is decent. Not the best but not the worst. Nice floral and citrus with mild spice. Great hot day beer.
