3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
I poured this from a bomber into an imperial pint glass, foregoing my New Holland High Gravity Series tulip since it only holds eleven ounces and I was not sharing. It settles well, with a typical white ale cloudiness and pillow like white head. The aroma is mostly spice, coriander in particular, with resinous hop undertones. It is difficult to detect much else behind the strong spiciness, which also overwhelms the taste. The mouth feel is creamy and soft, presumably from the oats. While I do not plan to revisit this year’s edition, I may try it again next year in case the spice is dialed back.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz single bottle from the Craft Beer Cellar - Fort Collins. Clear golden-orange appearance with a white head. The aroma is zesty, herbal, floral and spiced with a hint of fruity esters. Similar flavor, adding citrus fruits and a light peppery spice. Smooth and balanced with mild bitterness. Better than expected.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is a really pleasant beer. In terms of a summer seasonal it’s a different type of beer then an Oberon, which is nice. It’s a little more hoppy and bitter than the citrusy nature of Oberon. I really like this beer, and it keeps getting better.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 ounce bottle into signature pint glass, bottled on 2/17/2016. Pours lightly hazy deep golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon peel, lime, peach, pear, apple, pepper, coriander, clove, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of bright citrus/tropical hops, fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon peel, lime, peach, pear, apple, pepper, coriander, clove, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Moderate herbal bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon peel, lime, peach, pear, apple, pepper, coriander, clove, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical hops, fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance and zero astringent flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness/yeast spiciness as well. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp/sticky, and lightly creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 5.2%. Overall this is an awesome Belgian IPA style. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical hops, fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled. Has a darker brown. To be fair I had floaters in. My beer so it wasn’t the freshest. Has a small Belgium taste. Not ver bold. Kind of disappointing.

This white IPA is ok. Some tropical notes with typical Belgium yeast notes. Ok but not the best

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Rated on 6-24-2015 (Bottle) This beer’s appearance is a small smooth white head with a long retention, slightly hazy golden body, very fizzy, fast rising carbonation observed, and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is citrus hops, fruity, spicy, coriander, and yeasty. The flavor is lightly bitter, citrus hops, sweet, fruity, coriander, and yeast. The mouthfeel of this beer is light carbonation and this beer is light-medium bodied. A drinkable beer, but the flavor was a bit mumbled jumbled.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A- Caramel, bread, biscuits, subtle pine, subtle citrus, tea.
A- Orange color, cloudy liquid, off white head.
T- Bread, caramel, slightly bitter, subtle citrus.
P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly bitter finish.
O- Not what I expected to get. One could assume white ipa or witbier and I guess it’s a bit along those lines, but loads of bready caramel and malts kind of take away from the general expectation of what this would taste like.
