3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle on 7/06/08, courtesy of Steve E.
Aroma - Light honey, spice, lemon in the aroma, anticipating a summer refresher.
Appearance - Hazy yellow, medium head and good lace of small, fine bubbles.
Flavor - Light fruity sweetness that receives sufficient balance from a soft, citrus based bitterness.
Palate - Light body and a moderately lively carbonation that helps clean the palate and adds to a welcome dry finish.
Overall - Refreshing, good balance, not loaded up with flavor and aroma, but this isn’t the style for that. I thought it was better than its ratings suggest.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12oz. Poured hazy yellow/orange with a starkly white head. Iím getting almost nothing in the nose, some slight banana and clove. Body is similar, mostly flavorless some copper pipe towards the finish. Very light, highly carbonated, easy drinking... thatís about all I have to say about this wit.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a light rusty yellow with some bubbles and a thin airy white head. Sweet candy wheat aroma, pretty earthy. Soft hints of honey in the flavor, earthy, dull, wheat, touch of banana. Not much character at all. Kind of a nasty lager like aftertaste. Hard to call this a Belgian White... maybe the most boring wheat ever.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy yellow-orange color, white head. Aroma is sweet with wheat, yeast, and spice. Flavor is citrus with wheat. Pretty well balanced taste, though nothing spectacular. Nice beer to consume on a warm day.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Slightly hazed gold pour. Fast disappearing white head. Aroma starts off with wheat and yeast notes and some spice. Floral hops begin to come through as does light citrus. Taste is very wheat and yeast laden mixed with strong lemony tartness, spices and soft sweet malts. Much more American Wheat than wit to me. Body is light-medium with soft carbonation. The carbonation seems to have all but disappeared. The finish is more strong wheat and yeast notes, lemon, and soft malt with spice. After stirring the yeast and pouring it int he glass, the body became almost solid gold. Very unique looking.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle in weizen glass. Has a yellow orange seltzer look to with with small white head disappearing quickly. Sweet malty aroma of yeast and some orange/citrus. Not much flavor, there is a acidic quality to it and light grapefruit flavors. Refreshing but not up to par.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle. Cloudy yellow gold with a white head. Wheaty nose, lemon and light orange. I think there is a clove hiding in there, too, but itís a whiff if any. Orange flavor, a bit of zesty bite late. Long, bitter citrus zest finish. Not much of a wit, but not a bad drinker, either. Body is a bit watery.

3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sample sizer. Pale, wheat colored -- as a wheat beer should be. Doesnít have the esters I expect from the aroma of a wheat beer -- it has a little bit of caramel in it. Itís beer. Not very complex, and doesnít really capitalize on the wheat at all. It has malt to it, and some lemon there on warming, but it generally isnít anything I found impressive.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
pour is gold and cloudy. Fresh fruit flavor and aroma, but not really a pronounced banana flavor. Slight hoppy finish. Good palate cleanser after a devil dancer
