Not a bad IPA but only average. Actually tastes like what I brew at home. Nice citrusy flavor but not very hoppy for an IPA. Aftertaste leaves a sticky feeling on the throat. Good first try but these guys can do better. Keep working on it!

Pours an orangish yellow. Lemon, honey, hints of pine and resin. Bitter hoppy citrus, tangy, somewhat crisp aftertaste. Not too bitter. A nice refreshing East Coast IPA.

nice rich golden lemony color which is enhanced by a brew that is nicely powerful. thin white head and flavors of grapefruit and fruit with a bit of scratch and tang of pine. fuller body and feeling on the rich side with smooth and vibrant carbonation. nice presentation in a plain pint glass at the Hamilton Ale house Jersey City, New Jersey.

Draft at Uno. Clear yellow/gold with half inch of white frothy head. Aroma is citrus - specifically lemon-forward. Lots of bubbles here. Good, bitter finish. This one is well balanced and refreshing. Rivals anything else coming out of NJ these days.

2oz sample at International Great Beer Expo (Meadowlands). Poured a golden orange color with a small foamy off white head. Aroma of old citrus, caramel, and sweet grain. Taste of lemon pulp, old citrus, sweet grain, and caramel.

Location: Draft at the Stewed Cow, 12/28/13

Aroma: The aroma has some nice hop notes of pine and a little citrus, with some caramel
Appearance: It pours a reddish color (dark for the style), with a beige head
Flavor: The flavor is medium hoppy, and leans bitter, with some malty balance as well
Palate: The body is medium, it has a nice, clean feel, and a somewhat dry finish as well
Overall Impression: I just added this one, and rumor has is that this benefits those who got hit by Sandy the worst. So as another beer from our state would say, "FU Sandy!" I actually thought this was quite good, and my favorite thing Ive tried from NJ Beer Company.
