3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle via six pack from Lacey Liquors. Pours a dark brown color with a thin fizzy tan head. Aroma of roasted nuts, raisin, dark chocolate, and toffee. Taste is rich roasted malt, cocoa, raisins, and walnuts. Mouthfeel is a little thin for a stout, but is really tasty.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
it is well balanced as well as formidable in body and flavor. malt, cocoa and raisin create a full flavored lightly sweet stout that is dark and satisfying.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Solid effort from the garden state, not as good as the elite stouts, but above average. Glad I bought a six pack.

Ack with rimming tan head; aroma is sweet with hints of roasted malt; Flava of nice rotated malt and vanilla softly fading to a finish of tangy grassy malt; feels medium and silky

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Location: Draft at Little Town NJ, 4/25/13
Aroma: The nose is fairnt roasted malts, some coffee, and a bit of chocolate
Appearance: It pours a basically black color with a small head on it
Flavor: The taste is similar to the nose, roasty and a little sweet, on the bland side
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has a decently creamy feel, and a soft carbonation
This one is not a favorite for me. I really want NJ Brewing to be good because they are so close, but their beers are just a little dull...

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Coffee. Dark black color. Smooth, but nothing special jumps out. Thin feel. Good flavor and enjoyable. Rates well but low on the totem pole for stouts.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Sampled at the AC festival. Bland. Watery. Aroma was strong, poured very dark, almost black. Agree with Quebec’s comment, "It’s breweries like this one that give New Jersey breweries a bad name."
