Commercial Description:
It has a medium body, being a true English-style Pale Ale with a deep golden color. It is malty and complex, with a hint of sweetness up front and a smooth, balanced finish which contains just enough lingering flavor to encourage the next mouthfull.

Draught. I thought this was the brown ale before I smelled. I had to go and check the keg, and on the side was XX Pale. Hmm, interesting. Pours light brown/gold with a small white head. Aroma is thin, with lots of sweet caramel and english hops. Flavor is astringent fruity hops, really lacks any kind of balance, instead pretty much just fading into a weird sweet flavor after the initial hoppy bite.

Not a big fan of this beer. Not sure what it was, but the taste just turned me off. I can’t describe what it was but I’m just not liking this beer.

Not a bad beer per se, but a little too much blueberry flavoring. It seems all the Knoxville brews share this same quality. One or two though are good.

A bit disappointing after trying the excellent IPA. Beer lacks character. When in mood for pale ale, one could do worse.
