The best companion to the nachos. The C-note name points to the 100-IBUs of bitterness. It takes a big beer to stand up to a jalapeno-laden chip and C-note came through. Wonderfully.

aroma and flavor, pine hops dominate this one followed by some citrus, grapefruit elements. Light notes of malts come add a little variety here and ends on a nice grassy hops touch.

old note 11/1 @ Redbones during Northwest Fest. Good aroma, sweet, soft, subtle. Orange citrus mainly, hazedreddish orange color, good head, and lace. Bitter sweet flavor, grapefruit, caramel. Thick body, creamy mouthfeel, bitter dry finish. Good, though not a standout in the aroma or flavor, had many others like it. Looked great too.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Amber pour with a thick white head. The nose is really lovely. Heavy, spicy hops with a fairly tropical character as well. Earthy and spicy with a kiss of light resinousness. Grapefruit and orange peel with a touch of pine. Itís kind of unusual how there are so many distinct hop characteristics in here. There is a touch of lightly minerally/musky flavour on the back of the pine and fruit that I really enjoy. Lovely integration of malts and hops toward the finish. Soft pine and a bit of light caramel/crackery malts. Quite fresh and tasty. I canít say there is really anything particularly unique about it, but something about it just hits for me.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22oz. Bottle: Weak aroma of hops, citrus, light grapefruit, slight grass, and a hint of caramel. Poured very deep amber/very deep orange in color with a small, creamy, tan head that diminished but lasted throughout as a rocky film on top of the beer. Very hazy. Sparkling. Good to very good lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and medium bitter. Tastes of hops, pine, resin, slight lychee, light caramel, slight toasting, slight citrus, and a hint of grapefruit. Medium body. Oily, then dry texture. Average carbonation. Hoppy, resinous, pine, and light caramel malt finish is dry.

Not bad, but i have a feeling it is not real fresh. Body is medium/full, carbonation is moderate. An easy to drink IIPA pn a recordbreaking 110f Oregon City afternoon!
