COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
To call C-Note very hoppy would be an understatement. It’s brewed with the seven "C" hops (Crystal, Cluster, Cascade, Chinook, Centennial, Columbus and Challenger) and pushes the bitterness limit to 100 International Bitterness Units.

From a 22 oz bottle this poured a very rich amber with red tinges, a large and long lasting creamy off-white head and moderate lacing. Nose is dominate by citrus hops, but there are floral and pine notes as well. Rich and smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is well balanced between the caramel malts and the quite bitter hops, and the finish is long and bitter as well. Overall a very enjoyable and easy to drink iPA from this Portland, Oregon brewery.

(22oz bottle) Pours a hazy amber body with a small white bubbly head. Aroma of pine, rubbing alcohol, caramel, and herbs. Flavor of hops (pine, floral) and caramel malt.

Bomber. Pours much darker than I expected, looking like a strong iced tea. Held up to the light it reveals a slightly hazy deep copper color with an orange hue. The head is thin, white, and leaves minimal lacing on the side of the glass. The aroma is balanced between citrus hoppiness and caramel malt - again a surprise, as I expected the hop aroma to be dominant. The flavor is sweet caramel malt first, followed by a pleasant sticky bitterness, and lastly a fruity almost floral finish with a little malty nuttiness. Overall, an enjoyable beer with a surprising balance.

This amber ale poured with a decent beige head and a floral citrus aroma. There is a nice caramel malt base and some serious hopping, enough to pucker your mouth.

Appearance: Pours a clearish, deep, dark amber body with a frothy, white head. Smell: Fragrant nose of caramel-coated and candied oranges, lemon, and mangoes with a garnish of shimmering, oily grapefruit peel. Taste: Sweet caramel and crystal maltiness setup a sturdy base for the bright hop character. Citric, moderately bitter hop flavors of fruit and resinous pine. Finishes bittersweet, though only the raw hop bitterness remains for the aftertaste. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Touch of toothsome stickiness to the mouthfeel. Drinkability: Well, that was pretty good. A pleasant, hoppy lil’ gem from Lompoc.
