4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 oz bomber bought at Roth’s Sunnyslope Market in S.Salem.
Cold and snowy evening hope this helps!
Slightly hazed amber coloured beer in the glass, with a nice looking large creamy/thick eggshell white head.
Very prominent aromas, deep rich chocolate fudge maltiness balanced by huge spruce and resinous hop.Impressive.
Taste is similar to the noce very luxuriant and ends with a nice long lasting dark chocolate style bitterness.
Good mouth feel..lowish carbonation and smooth.
I really liked this one.
I like the maltier IIPAs so this suited me.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber. Citrus and pine with a lot of malty sweetness. Light bitterness throughout dominated by sticky sweetness. Finish is balanced but again... way too sweet.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Got a 22oz bottle of this one. Poured a slightly hazy golden orange color with a slightly off-white head. Aroma was some light citrus notes, but this one was dominated by malts - not sure if it is an older bottle, but I was under the impression that it was this year’s brew. Pretty decent regardless of whatever might have been missing in the hop department.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a hazy golden brown with thin cap of tan head. Aroma is citrus hops, strong caramel malt back, some maple syrup there too. Taste is full citrus and pine hops with an ample malt support. Hops linger nicely. Finish is quick but pleasing. Decent.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber. Appearance is a deep amber color with a cap of beige foam. The aroma blends caramel malt, citrus rind, tropical fruit and pine. The taste starts out with a good deal of grapefruit, orange peel and resiny hops bitterness followed by some dark fruit and caramel notes from the malt. The body is mildly creamy with moderate carbonation while the finish brings a final dose of piney bitterness and citrus. Overall, a nice change of pace from most winter seasonals.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at sb. Pours a slightly hazy dark amber with a dense and creamy tan head and lots of sheeting lace. Nice fresh pineapple, orange, and pine nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Caramel, toast, pineapple, pine, and oranges on the mid palate. Long crisp finish.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampled on tap at The Taphouse, pours a hazy golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruity hops, maple syrup, and lots of caramel malts. Flavour is quite balanced, almost over-balanced with syrupy caramel malts which more than counteract the strong hop notes to the point of subordinating them. Duration is quite short, with a dry, syrup finish. Not too impressive here.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
22oz bomber. Deep copper, off white head that tries to hang around. Malty, heavy floral hop aroma with lots of pine, hints of citrus. Heavy combo of malt and pine flavor up front with hints of citrus rind, and a pleasant linqering bitterness. Medium body, clean mouthfeel. This is a beefy imperial IPA well suited for a chilly winter night.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Traded bottle. Pours a clear, copper-brown color with a small tan head. Just a hint of lacing. Fairly light aroma of hops, pineapple and caramel. Wow, big flavor considering the aroma. Full on citrus and pine hop bitterness but a strong malt backbone to keep it even. Pretty tasty.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber served in a tulip. 2009 bottling aged a year. Pours clear, dark amber-brown with a short beige head. Minimal retention and good lacing. Nose is sweet and Barley Wine-esque. Big malty, salt, and corn syrup. Big, sweet flavor backed by medium bitter hops and light salt. Medium-full body that bitters quickly. Excellent heavy winter Double IPA / Barley Wine hybrid.
