DA (2474), Portland, Oregon City, Oregon, USA Apr 23, 2007 On tap at Oaks Bottom Pub. Pours dark mahogany red with a small bubbled beige head. Poured off cask at room temp. The cask made this beer very soft on the palate. The softness and warm temp allowed the malts to gain complexity. Warm toasty caramel notes blend with a light toffee and bready character. Hops were subtle, but enough to balance. Very nice session brew.
