Had at the Great Arkansas Beer Festival 2014. Of their beers that I’ve had so far, this is by far the best. The raspberries hide any off flavors or lack of flavors. Decent.

Pours an amber color with off-white head. Raspberry on the nose with some other sweetness as well. Finishes sweet.

Aroma like the raspberry scented cream I once had to rub on my girlfriend’s cat’s anal glands. Taste it what I imagine the afformentioned cream might taste like. The appearance is really the only good thing this beer has going for it - a nice bubbly pink pour. Smells and tastes downright funky and gross. Poured out after one sip. I weep for celiac people who have to drink this swill in place of real beer.

This beer has a light orange and pink coloring with a light head. The aroma consists of raspberry, spice, and hops. This beer was sweeter then the others but the raspberry taste does not last long when the typical New Planet after taste kicks in.

Bottle. Nose of artificial raspberry and that strange sickly-sweet buckwheat/sorghum odor that creeps into these kinds of beers. Pours ultra-clear pink with orange tendencies and a noisy, fizzy beige head that doesn’t last very long. Taste is sweet but not cloying, has a flat, airy, and lightly stripping tendency, but no really bitterness or tartness. Raspberry dominates, and thankfully redirects from the failed nose to taste natural; light mineral underneath and some twinging as the sorghum imitates wild phenolic excess. Medium body is a bit flat. Honestly, I’m fine with this, probably more as a component of a mixer than straight, but I wouldn’t call it bad.

bottle - This gluten free beer smells like.... well, maybe it’s raspberries. It’s odd. Overripe fruit? The flavor is sweet and bland with a very thin body. Sugary. Bleh. Sadly my advice for those with a gluten allergy is still to become a wine connoisseuer.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Wilbur’s Fort Collins. Pours a peachish orange appearance with a thin pinkish head. Spritzy raspberry wine cooler, corny aroma. Kind of bitter, light veggie, twangy raspberry, slightly citrusy flavor. Certainly better than some of New Planet’s other offerings but not by much.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. The pour is golden yellow with a short-lived head and good clarity. But it is all downhill from there. Some raspberries on the nose but mostly butter and corny malts. Average mouthfeel. It fits the style. The taste does bring out some raspberries but not enough to make me think this is a raspberry beer and the raspberries I get feel artificial or from extract. This beer was one of the weaker ones I have had in awhile.

Bottle. I’ve really been putting this one off because of the name. Surprise, not bad, not great, maybe average but not as bad as I would have thought. Dark gold with a hint of red color. A quickly disappearing head. Aroma is not much raspberry almost hints of chocolate. Taste is kind of bland with a aftertaste of raspberry and not very sweet.
