Pours a pinkish amber with a thin white head. Aroma is berries and buttered grits. Flavor is that of berry flavored water. Would be very enjoyable on a hot day.

(bottle 9/2/10). Pale rose color with good clarity. Small off white head. Light berry aroma and flavor. Very short duration. Light dry finish. Thin texture. Soft carbonation. Spare lacing.

A: The pour is a pink color, almost like cherry 7-Up with a very short lived foam. S: Definitely some butter along with cardboard and paper, smells almost like a paper mill. There is not much raspberry to it along with some mild sugar and grass, perhaps some straw and water. T: The flavor is similarly poor. Lots of wet cardboard and paper with a mild raspberry flavor. A bit of sweetness as well as some grainy sugar and a touch of metal. M: Watery and light with a medium carbonation. O: It’s no Indian Wells Raspberry Ale, but it’s not something I’d like to drink, either.

Nice balance of sweet and tart berry flavors but not enough beer essence and what does comes through just seems a little off.

12 oz bottle into tulip. Ugh...this thing smells foul. Smells like vinegar and chemicals. Pours a clear deep gold with a small white quickly-collapsing head. Taste is sweet and tart with no bitterness. Tastes like raspberry seltzer water with a hint of beer. Corn and alcohol are noticeable in the finish. Carbonation is medium, body is thin. Not good, but what do you expect from a sorghum beer?

grapefruit soda appearance. cough drop flavor. fizzy tartness, can’t decide if it’s intentional. 10% juice-like fresca cough syrup.

Orangish pour. Small head. Aroma is all raspberries and caramel malt. Flavor is sweet, malty, and raspberries. Flavor follows suit. All raspberries.

Fruit and gluten free could be a bad combo but this works for me. Especially on a hot day. Raspberry is balanced by the base beer and it is not syrupy sweet. This is better than some regular fruit beers.

From the Bottle at the GABF, Colorado Convention Center 17/09/2010 Fruity aroma. Golden bronze coloured fruity raspberry flavour. A little thin on the palate. A hint of dryness in a malt finish.

22 oz. bottle. Pours a short lived head, over a clear, copper colored (SRM 10) body....nose is light raspberry, grain.....taste is light beery sweet, then a light, slightly sour finish.....mouth feel is light and watery, carbonation makes for a soda like quality. This is a very light beverage, with minimal flavor and aroma, except for the raspberry. BJCP 5/3/10/4/5
