2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Poured hazy reddish amber color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate raspberry fruit aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium raspberry sweet flavor with a medium sweet fruit finish of short to moderate duration. Soft fruit beer.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Man, I am glad I don’t have one of these new fangled diseases people have been getting where you can’t have gluten. I like beer. This stuff is made from sorgum and "corn extract" whatever that is. It is a ight pinkish brown golden color w/ no head. Nose is sort of vaguely malty and toffee-ish but kind of strange around the edges. Taste is a bit better w/ some tart fruits playing off a touch of sweetness but still a weird non-beery taste in the background is hard to ignore. Carbonation is crisp which would suit a brew like this but the texture is a bit oily. Overall, I have tried worse gluten free beer like concoctions but I will be pleased to not run into this one again.

My first gluten free beer. And It was pretty good. Poors very light, has a pretty sweet taste of raspberry.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle, pink label. Pink orange color. Bright white ring of fizz. Aroma of fruit puree, raspberry essence. Tart flavor form the adjunct corn extract. Finishes with a sweet raspberry note. Much better than Tread Lightly Ale, still gluten free. (3265)

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz. bottle. $2 at Lemon Tree. First beer I’ve seen with the "Nutrition Facts" on the label. Fizzy pinkish body and head. Light raspberry smell. Nothing to replace the missing malt smell. Taste is a bit of raspberry in light sparkling wine. For a brew with corn in it, it manages to rein in the usual corn sweetness. Instead, a dry, fizzy brew with raspberry in balance. Not much bitterness, so the light dryness carries the day. Best sorghum beer I’ve had.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a clear, dark golden amber with a tinge of red and a fairly thick, if not persistent, pale tan head. Raspberry dominates the aroma, which does have some sorghum to it. Flavor has firm sorghum and raspberry notes, and is slightly sweet - pretty good for a non-gluten beer. Texture is smooth and has average body but plenty of fizz. One of the better gluten free beers I have had.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle (free, thanks Josh!) pours a clear rose’ with a feeble attempt at a head. Scent is musty berries. Taste is bad and fruity.

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Crap - now with berry! +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a salmon-orange color with a large soapy light pink head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was tangy artificial sugar, artificial berry, yeast and had an odd off presence. The flavor was grainy cereal, artificial sugar, artificial berry and was a touch medicinal. The finish was medium length tangy berry. Medium body. Awful, which is a step up for these guys.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Sweet and tart, but with a bit of earthiness as well. Citrus and raspberry, watery. Might be better as a summer thirst quencher.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pours dark straw with pinkish edges, frothy white head, a lot of carbonation streams. Looks like a smacked ass. Hopefully it smells better. Nose is grainy and plasticy, with some raspberry Jolly Ranchery notes. Tastes tart, soapy, hoppy, with some raspberry and orange zest at mid-palate. Light and watery.
