Our Pale Ale is reminiscent of a classic American Pale Ale, offering a bold hop character and rich caramel and grapefruit notes, with a clean yet distinctly hoppy finish.

Ingredients Sorghum, Brown Rice, Maltodextrin, Yucca Extract, Hops, and Yeast
Hops Cascade, Sterling
ABV 5.6%
IBU 45
Food Pairings The hop bitterness contrasts with spicy, heat-charred, smoky, or aromatic flavors. Try: blue cheese, barbeque, seafood, or Asian-spiced dishes.

Delightful! Beer made with brown rice, kind of like Sake (which is made from white rice). I taste a hint of the Sake flavor, but with hops and yeast, it’s a real beer. Gluten-free, which is cool. a really delicious beer, more breweries should take notice of this fine Boulder, Colorado Brew Co.

Probably the best Gluten-Free beer I’ve had so far. My fiance was just diagnosed with Celiac’s so we’ve been trying a lot of different options. We both like IPA’s, so this is a lot closer to what we’ve been looking for than a lot of the more mainstream options like Red Bridge (ok) and New Grist (absolutely terrible). It’s hoppy which is my most important criteria, but could use more flavor. I was just informed that Sarah is "not in love with it". We’ll keep looking. Someone make a gluten-free IPA! Dogfish Head, that means you...

Pours amber with no head. Smells of brown sugar and graham crackers with a hint of spicy hop. Full nectar with good carbonation. Starts out malty with a bit of sweet . A big hop profile is forward while the malt component dies rapidly leaving scorched mouth flesh to peel away. Not bad!

Bottle. Clear golden with a fizzy white head. Bitter vegetal and earthy skunky hops aroma and taste with a sticky palate.

Bottle pours deep gold with a white head. Aroma is sweet, showing notes of rice and grassy hops. Flavor shows pretty much the same. Overall pretty simple but better alternative than budlight imo.

12oz bottle, orange label. Aroma of brown rice syrup and spicy hops. Dark amber color, thin light tan head. Tastes like a hop flavored Clif Bar. Finishes with a bold hop bitterness. Not very well balanced. (3306)

Bottle. Pours clear amber/copper with a medium off-white head that leaves decent lacing. Interesting aroma of citrus and perhaps metal. Flavor is different, but not bad - citrus, molasses, sorghum, definite spiciness. Mildly bitter, floral finish. Aftertaste is a bit odd

At Native Foods in Lakeview. For a gluten free beer it was pretty good, fuller in body and with less of the dry tinney flavor. Compared to regular beer sure it is not as good but not bad for g-free. Serving: Bottle

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market Charlottesville. Pours a clear copper color with a fizzy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of grainy, caramel malts, nutty notes and metallic hops. The taste is bitter hops, caramel, honey, tea and nutty notes. Medium bodied. Decent.

"tastes like beer" Poured without much head which disappeared quickly. This gluten free brew has a pleasant citrusy flavor with pretty decent carbonation, which I’m finding is a problem with gluten free beers. Nothing special here, but this one could actually almost pass off as a non gluten free.
