COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tread Lightly Ale is a great balanced beer made from fermented sorghum and corn, hops and yeast. It is a bright beer with light taste and body and without the after taste of other sorghum-based beers. Inspired by the old-style America Pilsner, our Tread Lightly Ale appeals to a new style beer drinker looking for a healthy alternative, low caloric content and great taste.

Pours a clear golden color with white head. Sweet grains on the nose; follows onto the palate. Drinkable, but different.

This beer has a light golden color with a nice foamy head. The taste consists of a citrus and is lightly sweet. However, like the rest of the beers they make it has a strong metallic after taste.

12oz bottle 4/17/14 (Meijer)-38° in Shaker-Pours a a clear golden with a big white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of grains, grass, and sweetness. Taste of sourness, grains, and malt. This light bodied brew is not the best tasting. Not sure of the taste because of the gluten free or bad beer.

bottle - Pours clear gold with minimal head. It has a mild, sugary aroma. The flavor is sweet and basically tastes like sugar with some corn and maybe a hint of citrus. Meh. Why? Just why? Stop the madness.

Bottle. Nose is sweet and stale, floral and non-barley skunky. Pours very bright, clear golden with a loud fizzy bright white head. Taste is semi-sweet and almost artificial with a bracing acidic tang, no bitterness. The sourness will keep a lot away, but I don’t mind it. There’s some good citrus buried amid all the strange corn and sorghum flavors, and there’s a high-octane floral content that always reminds me of heavy fusels, though there are none. A nice cider character takes hold with volume. Medium-full body, a little slimy, oily. Count me among those who are able to bear this one; I even find it bright and refreshing, and can enjoy it. But might want to wait until the aggressive fizz/head dies out, this needs as much balancing softness as it can get.

Bottle. A- Citrus, grains. A- Yellow color, clear liquid, minimal head. T- Unbalanced, skunky, watery. P- Light body, average texture, high carbonation, skunky finish. O- No way can this beer taste as bad as it does, but yet it really is that bad. There is nothing good to say about this so I will leave it at that.

12oz bottle pours with a crystal clear gold body that has no head whatsoever. The aroma is weird sugary sweetness mixed poorly with odd yeasty spices and moldy apricots. What is this. The taste, well the wife tried this and said it tastes like medicine and she outright refused to try anymore. I can’t add anything more constructive to this review than that. It is moldy medicinal sugar sweet apricot and spiced apple fruity esters that are coming across in the worse possible way. I don’t know if I can stress this enough,
DO NOT DRINK THIS!

Bottle from Blue Dog Lansdale. Pours very pale gold with minimal white head. Nose is grainy malt, mild hops, bready. Tastes pretty bad, some grainy notes, mild hops, corn, and not much else. This blonde is more lacking in substance and devoid of character than my last mistress.

Bottle. Sweet, medicinal aroma. Golden yellow with minimal head. Sweet floral orange/lemon flavor with light medicinal finish. Fruity and light - thankfully I’m not gluten-intolerant though.
