Tread Lightly Ale is a great balanced beer made from fermented sorghum and corn, hops and yeast. It is a bright beer with light taste and body and without the after taste of other sorghum-based beers. Inspired by the old-style America Pilsner, our Tread Lightly Ale appeals to a new style beer drinker looking for a healthy alternative, low caloric content and great taste.

Bottle. Medium golden with a very brief white head that dissipates within seconds to a thin white ring. This beer possesses the same off-putting medicinal phenols I’ve found in the other two from this brewer. There is a tart cherry note in the aroma, but the palate is just all wrong. Undrinkabley foul.

12 oz bottle pours golden with a white head. Aroma of sweet grain. Taste is real light grain but really nothing else. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: DEC 22, 2013 12 oz. Clear and pale straw colored with a small head that sizzles away. Aroma is caramelized sorghum, apple and a touch of grass. Taste is apple cider with some cane sugar and a touch of pith and dry grass. Light body is sweet and has light-medium carbonation. Even A-B’s sorghum beer (Redbridge I believe it’s called) puts this one to shame.

Clear, bright fizzy yellow. loose, soapy white head Almost no aroma. Taste is mildly sour, some sweet notes. I think it’s it’s lack of flavor makes it tolerable. Lots of sour apple notes as it warms.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear, pale gold with mibimal head. Aroma is super weak. A little fruit and bread. Taste is light tart. Like a pinot girgio with champagn yeast. Light bodied with a thin texture. Soft carbonation and a super long finish. Overall, meh. Im glad i can consume gluten.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a softly carbonated transparent light yellow colored body and no lacing. The aroma was cardboard. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish. The soft flavor contained notes of floral hops and malt. A decent one but not one that I would consider buying again.

Pours a pale straw color with a hint of fizz... aromas are sweet, artificial fruity pebbles, apple juice... do I really have to take a sip. Welp it taste just like it smells... fruity pebble cereal with bland cider used instead of milk. Yikes.
