2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Sampled on 3/1/2012. This specialty grain ale pours very light orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is sorghum and corn, a touch of spice. A light to medium bodied gluten free beer. The Non-malts are corn, sorghum and sweet. The hops are floral and herbal. Started out fairly lively carbonated, but the carbonation disappears quickly. It really tastes like a cross between ginger ale and corn chexs. I can understand trying to brew gluten free beers, but I have yet to find out that I would want to drink more than once. This one comes the closest I have had so far, but I think if I had a gluten problem, I would switch to drinking wine and ciders. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is sweet.

0.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
The band the Bloodhound Gang uses a line "I would rather slurp rancid tuna salad out of my own ass." This is what came to my mind when I tasted this "beer". +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a very pale yellow color with a medium sized foamy white head that left good lacing. The aroma was extremely faint dryish bread. The flavor was tangy with notes of cracker, rotten vegetable, bitter medicine and mint. Simply awful beyond all reason. Unfortunately the finish was very long with a rancid medicinal presence that refused to go away. Very light body. Disgusting - bring on the rancid tuna salad!

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Rather sour and tart with a strange flavor and aftertaste. Bready, slightly fruity, odd. Not one that I would recommend or try again.

Better than i expected from a gluten free beer. New Planet is one of the best gluten free varieties I have had. Slight sweet/orange body with yeasty finish

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
[Bottle] Pours a very light yellow color with a fizzy white head. Aroma is mainly grains (sorghum- I am guessing) and a heavy dose of green apple. The taste is of bland sweet grains, more apple, paper, hints of Band Aid. Very thin. Poor, even for a gluten free beer.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2013 Bottle. Super clear and pale yellow pour with almost no head. Aroma of sour apple. Someone else said it smells like sake - I get that too. Very light palate, medium carbonation. Taste is apple and pils malts. This just isn’t very good at all.
