2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Nose is sweet and stale, floral and non-barley skunky. Pours very bright, clear golden with a loud fizzy bright white head. Taste is semi-sweet and almost artificial with a bracing acidic tang, no bitterness. The sourness will keep a lot away, but I donít mind it. Thereís some good citrus buried amid all the strange corn and sorghum flavors, and thereís a high-octane floral content that always reminds me of heavy fusels, though there are none. A nice cider character takes hold with volume. Medium-full body, a little slimy, oily. Count me among those who are able to bear this one; I even find it bright and refreshing, and can enjoy it. But might want to wait until the aggressive fizz/head dies out, this needs as much balancing softness as it can get.

A friend cannot eat gluten, so he brought this over. Kind of terrible. Some gluten free beers are reasonably beerish, this was not

0.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
A- Citrus, grains.
A- Yellow color, clear liquid, minimal head.
T- Unbalanced, skunky, watery.
P- Light body, average texture, high carbonation, skunky finish.
O- No way can this beer taste as bad as it does, but yet it really is that bad. There is nothing good to say about this so I will leave it at that.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
12oz bottle pours with a crystal clear gold body that has no head whatsoever. The aroma is weird sugary sweetness mixed poorly with odd yeasty spices and moldy apricots. What is this. The taste, well the wife tried this and said it tastes like medicine and she outright refused to try anymore. I canít add anything more constructive to this review than that. It is moldy medicinal sugar sweet apricot and spiced apple fruity esters that are coming across in the worse possible way. I donít know if I can stress this enough,
DO NOT DRINK THIS!

Bottle from Blue Dog Lansdale. Pours very pale gold with minimal white head. Nose is grainy malt, mild hops, bready. Tastes pretty bad, some grainy notes, mild hops, corn, and not much else. This blonde is more lacking in substance and devoid of character than my last mistress.

Sister in Law has a barley allergy. She bought the sixer, took two sips and gave the rest to me. I have a slightly higher opinion but not by much. Smooth drinking but weird after taste. Definitely not an every day beer but will be okay on occasion.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma is grains, mild sweetness and the expected sorghum funk, although milder than expected. The flavor is malts, fruit/berries/strawberries, mild citrus and a tart finish. Better than expected, the sorghum was thankfully muted.

Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours gold with a creamy white head. Aroma suggests a wit, sort of. Med body. Flavor is sweetish with some citrus. Finishes a bit gummy.
Earlier Rating: 10/10/2010 Total Score: 2.8
Pours gold with a transient tan head. Light citrus aroma. Med body/mod carb. Flavor is mild grain(?) with a little citrus. Light but drinkable.
