Brown pour with red hints and a tan head. Roasted malt, with a hinto chocolate aroma. Decent roasted malt flavor with some chocolate overtones. Medium/light bodied but fizzy. Decent earthy bitter finish.

Just didn’t seem to have any body or taste. Couldn’t detect much of anything. Not impressive in the least.

Pours a predictable reddish brown with thin off-white head. Aroma of slight hops, caramel, and nuts. Flavor is no surprise. Overall a very drinkable brown ale, but forgettable.

On tap at Pearlz Oyster Bar in Charleston’s Historic District. Poured a brownish-red color with a thin off-white cap that disippated quickly but actually left decent lacing. Very faint aroma that was nutty-caramel and malt. Mouthfeel was fairly thin and tingly, and unfortunately, the faintness of the nose was even less noticeable in the taste The finish was a bit on the dry side.
Not a bad beer, just no real positives. Would probably make an okay session beer.

Copper color, seemed a clone of Newcastle, very unexciting. No, not a fan of this style. Nutty and bland, minimal aroma.

very weak flavor. carries a sweet taste, but not much hop at all. still a pretty decent beer, but the taste is just a little weak. be a good beer to get drunk off of because of the week tasting flavor

Draught. Clear brown color with thin off white head. Weak aroma overall with some brown sugar and sprucy hops. Flavor is nutty and earthy with brown sugar and a touch of sprucy hop flavor. Nothing to write home about.
