First beer Iíve had from this upstart brewery in my homestate. Aromas are a bit dull but there is some chocolate and brown sugar in there. Flavor is a bit of the same but it seems a bit off. Canít hate too much on a beer from a new brewery in a state that needs more microbreweries, but this one just isnít that great at all.

12 oz can shared with Aurelius - thanks! Light copper pour, thin off-white head. Light nuttiness in the aroma. Cola - like flavor, some light nutty notes. Uneventful mouthfeel.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Burgerfi in North Myrtle Beach. Dark brown with a creamy beige head. Aromas of sweet malt and yeasty esters. Flavors are thin--brown sugar and yeasty esters that impart mild winey notes. Herbal hops and slight nuttiness. Ok, but not a memorable beer.

A thin beer but at low abv pretty good. A lot of carbonation. Nice lasting head. Sweetness and carbed. Decent beer but not worth a six pack.

Draft at new new south brewery. Thinking beer doesnít travel well according to other reviews. Smooth. Easy to drink. Slightly sweet. Not bitter at all. Newcastle wishes it was this good.
