16oz can thanks to Ed. I rated thus yesterday but it didn’t save for some reason WTF Joe T fix this for me would ya. Poured an opaque orange-amber with a foamy off white head. Aroma/flavor of tropical fruits, apricot, mango, green onion, garlic, caramel malts and grains. Medium body with decent alcohol heat throughout. Palate could be a bit smoother.

16oz can picked up from the brewery thanks to my mom! Pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with a small foamy white head. Aroma of sweet tropical fruit, caramel malt, and hints of piney hops and grass. Taste is much the same. More pine than in the aroma and some alcohol burn in the finish. Solid DIPA overall

Draft at brewery. Served in a small glass reminiscent of those we all stole from the University dining hall back in the day. I once had a service for 6. Amber gold in the glass. Thin white head that disappears quickly....as did the beer. Moderate malt nose. Low but sturdy nose of hop. Maybe it was the high ceilings, or the rainy day next to the Hudson river that kept the nose down. Whatever the reason, I enjoyed this beer as its body undulated from hop to malt and back to hop. Gone too soon. I have a feeling that I will be stopping back for a few growler fills after work.

On draft at brewery. Smells a bit sweet, some malt, a little pine. Nice on the tongue with a sweet malt backbone balanced by a semi bitter piney hop character. Considerably well balanced and very enjoyable.

Draft at Randolph Beer, Soho New York. Hoppy aroma of wet grass, pine. Slightly cloying flavor that initially disrupted my enjoyment of the beer. A little harder to enjoy than I'd like. Nice hop finish once you get past the pucker.

Draft. Pours golden orange with a white head. Big and bright tropical fruity hops, especially in the nose, lighter citrus and pine, a clean malty base, moderate bitterness, and a fruity citric hoppy finish. Hop drop non stop.

On draft. Brewery lists ABV at 9.5%. Aroma of chocolate and fruit. Surprisingly pale. Flavors of chocolate, faint cherry, peach, apricot. Smooth finish. Fine, fine beer. A little more complexity and it?d be a stat.

UPDATED: MAR 24, 2014 Hazy orange pour with fluffy white head. Honey + piney aroma, grapefruit and citrus zest throughout.. Very sweet from aroma to taste. A bit boozy, bitter / dry finish. Nice DIPA ---Rated via Beer Buddy
