3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz can. Pours a very hazy golden amber with a decent white head. Big pine aroma with flavors of pine, citrus and pepper. Very bitter. Don’t share this one with your pale ale friends. Love the name knowing where the brewery is and the green heads in the area plus the hop bite. Great new brewery, looking forward to tasting more of their brews.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap @ Jacob Wirth’s. Pours hazy dark Amber with medium creamy white head. Aroma is toasty caramel malts, punchy grassy bitter hops. Taste is sweet biscuity lightly nutty caramel malt, earthy sharply bitter hops - pine and vegetal notes dominate. Very west coast IPA. I liked it.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce can into pint glass, no can dating. Pours very haze deep orange/copper color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, grapefruit, lemon/orange peel, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted biscuit, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of juicy citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate dark/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, grapefruit, lemon/orange peel, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted biscuit, and floral/grassy earthiness.Moderate pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, grapefruit, lemon/orange rind, pine, honey, toasted biscuit, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and minimal lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, sticky/resinous, and creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. can. Pours a hazed amber color, with a one finger ecru head that leaves a smattering of lace. Citrus aroma with a strong caramel malt back bone. Lots of hop bitterness on the tongue. Malts aren’t quite as strong as the aroma would suggest. medium bodied with a lingering bitter finish.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma is earthy and chalky with hints of pine and citrus, not too intense
Appearance is oily amber with a light, dense, white head
The beer is dry, sweet citrus up front that turns to a chalky, bitter pine at the finish with a dry piney aftertaste that lingers.

On tap in shaker pint glass at Jimmy’s Culpeppers. Aroma is floral dominant. Appearance is light brown with finger-width fluffy white head. Palate was medium bodied with average carbonation. Taste is mild floral sweetness balanced with mild bitter. Overall, a decent IPA. Not terribly complex but a good drink.

Draft. Rich, eye-catching deep copper color. Super-malty aroma. Flavors are a striking mix of big, piney hop bitterness, and deep chocolate malts that keep on chocolating. Wouldn’t want this in July, but it’s pretty super in February.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This beer gets your attention. For a 12oz can from a reasonably new, smaller brewery, I wasn’t expecting to get walloped in the face with hop bitterness quite like this. It’s not a subtle beer, since it comes right at you with its effervescent bite, but it is satisfying and a bit complex.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
