Smooth, refreshing, slightly citrus-y with a light toasted sweet malt finish. If you’re looking for a drinkable ale, rope up to the bollards and enjoy.

On draft at Anchor Pizza, NBPT. Standard pale ale that had its hop bitterness and malt flavor collapse into each other and create a non-deScript muddle. Slightly sweet and not bitter or hoppy enough for my tastes.

Can at home in CT. Pours mostly clear gold with a frothy, off-white head. The nose holds some crackery pale malts, light tangerine, melon. Light-medium sweet flavor with notes of fruity gummy candies, more melon, peach, bitter citrus rind. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with mellow piney bitterness, dry and lightly crackery pale malts, hay, melon, tangerine. Pretty drinkable pale ale.

Sampled at GABF 2015. In the tasting glass amber with a dingy white head. Nose of citrus hops. Medium body. Flavor is again citrus. Bitter finish. Nice APA.

Can thanks to WillRunForBeer. Aroma is citrus peel, toast, and flowers. Tastes very dry. Mild bitterness. Toasted malt and citrus peel mostly. Hops come off a bit stale. Medium body. Easy to drink pale ale.

Pours a cloudy amber color. Aroma is of hops, some citrus, some metallic, dusty, and a little pine. Flavor is the same. I little dry but decent stuff.

From the can. Cloudy looking light to medium amber with a tremendous off-white foamy head. The aroma is light with a mild bready and sweet note and a mild citrus hop note. The body is light to medium. The taste has some of the same sweet and toasty elements with a peat moss kind of bitterness to finish.

A light orange brew with a thin off-white head. Earthy-citrus aromas. Flavor of light sweet malts with piney-citrus bitterness. Lingering honey sweetness with a light bitter finish.

Canned on the DCA LGA delta shuttle of all places. POURED a cloudy yellow. Some bitterness and citrus and malts. Decent.

Pours a cloudy amber with a thick, pillowy, off-white head. Nose is malty and slightly pithy; notes of grapefruit. Taste is quite bitter for a standard pale ale, but malt comes through in the aftertaste. Thin to medium body, lively carbonation. Nice brew.

Can as a thank you gift from NERBC Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a decent sized bubbly white head that shows moderate retention and lace. Aromas of earthy citrus toffee mineral water and diacetyl. The flavor is rich and malty with lots of toffee, caramel, and burnt butterscotch. Light earthy citrus rounds out the flavor. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation. Drinkable beer, but not my favorite pale ale. More English inspired than American imho.
