3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask (handpump) at the Kean’s Head, Nottingham on 14 October 2014. Pale gold. Thin white head. Pleasant, assertive citrus character throughout. Just a touch of biscuity malt to provide some body. Good lingering bitter finish. Very refreshing. Plenty of character at a modest ABV. Does the job nicely.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hand pulled at The Vat & Fiddle, Nottingham. Strongly hopped aroma. Dry and sweaty hops taste with a lingering bitter finish. Styled as a session ale but not as easy drinking as, say, a Harvest Pale. A bit one-dimensional - water and dry bitter hops; not a lot else.

Cask conditioned at Harbiry Beer Fest ’12. Greenish Gold with white head. Nice little session type beer, light but with enough hops for a tropical fruity flavour. Some lemon, some gooseberry, lasting palate. Very pleasant.

Cask conditioned handpump Malt Shovel Northampton 27/04/12. A yellow gold coloured beer with a whitish head. Nice sharp new hop citricity with a hint of spiciness too. Good bitterness. Some gooseberry in the mouth. Really tasty and especially so at 3.8%. The malts balance perfectly.
