Cask Conditioned, at the Market Porter, Borough, London .
Golden blonde with a proud, bright white head. Soft white appearance is overcome with pineapple, fruit salad hop aroma. Bags of hop aroma, tore through the MP dense atmosphere, so much so that even Sully would have been impressed. Generous lickings of flavour as well. Balance and with purpose. Very delicious indeed.

Still, clear and gold in appearance. Aromas are oranges, spices and some pear. Flavours are also fruity, with pepper, pear and a bitter finish. Has a long dry aftertaste. Not bad.

[Cask conditoned] A nice and very fruity bitter. It has some bitterness in the finish. I did not notice any sulphur.

The aroma was heavily sulphurous with some sweaty hop. Not very nice. The flavour was better, with the sulphur more subdued and some malt and hop balance, but by then the damage had been done. Rather disappointing as the previous Newby Wyke beer I had was excellent. May not have been in top condition. Cask (gravity), London Drinker beer festival.
