Draught (Maypole, Camdbridge) (6:3:6:3+:13=3.1+)
Red berry-ish aroma, just a touch of caramel. Anna gets some coconut and tropical fruit. Tons of fruity esters in the retronasals. Anna gets wooly sheep in places too. Iím glad I donít, my experience is pretty decent, this is an OK bitter. Black tea in the late late finish. Quite a twiggy bitter, but not unpleasantly so at all.

Hand pulled pint into a UK sleeve on 25th Feb 2012. Golden body, clear and almost bright: white head on top, thin but lasting. Good mix in the nose and taste: malty molasses (mostly caramel) blending well with a citrusy hop feel all rolled up into a full fruit basket. The hops rule the final flavour stakes as the mouth dries otherwise it is a well balanced beer. Medium body for itís alcohol strenght and easy to drink.

Cask conditioned handpump Malt Shovel Northampton. A copper to gold coloured beer with a whitish head and lacing. A good hoppy beer with nouveau hopping. Sharp pithy hops with some catís pee notes. The hops are especially good in the nose but itís a really tasty beer. NW are doing some good hoppy beers just now.
