A mid golden brown coloured beer with a weak head. A light nose of a weak biscuity malt aroma. The taste is dry, malty and biscuity, the finish is dry, malty and a little thin on the mouth. (Cask - @ The Fox & Hounds, Heacham, Norfolk).

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask (gravity dispense). Beer #10 at Bedford Beer Festival 2005. Obviously not just an April seasonal. And this would do very nicely year round. Mid gold colour. Big Cascade hop aroma. More restrained flowery hop on the palate with lots of juicy, squashy tropical fruit - melon and mango. More citric grapefruit notes come through towards the finish. Despite all those aromatic elements, the overall feel is dry and refreshing. Slips down a treat.

Cask, Swan and Rushes, Leicester. Amber/gold with an off-white head. Aromas are fruity, especially pineapple and pear with pepper and dry hops. Flavours are sweet caramel malts with lots of fruitiness. Very dry on the finish with grapefruit bitterness to give it zest.
