Fra cask på Zachariah Pearson Hull 24 Nov 15. Delt med Rune. Gyldenbrun. Filmskum. Forsiktig blomsteraroma. Smaken overmoden frukt & bær. Litt syrlig etter hvert.

Half pint served in a mug, cask at Zachariah Pearson (JDW) in Hull. Solid lacing from a tiny white head. Clear golden body. Floral hops on the nose, half-dry. Fresh citrus flavours including hints of lemon and grapefruit. Bittersweet citrus shells to the finish. Smooth and nice (shared with Finn, 24.11.2015).

Cask handpull, The Criterion, Leicester, 05/05/12. Pale gold with a loose white foam. Good catty, slightly dishcloth, lemon and lime, passion fruit hop aroma. Soapy with grapefruit and mango over a pale, toasted, husky base. Some grassiness, slight dankness. Ends up pretty bitter. Nice.

Cask handpull at The Bull Horton Kirby. Gold thin white head. Slight herb on the hoppy flavour. Touch of rubber too on the hops. Hoppy golden ale with some aggressive bitterness on finish.

Cask Conditioned Handpump Wig & Pen Northampton. A golden beer with a whitish head. A nice bitter beer with good citrus hops throughout. Definite New World influence with tropical fruit and lime jelly notes. Pretty nice.

Cask (handpump) at the Edgar Wallace, Strand, August 2009. Pale gold colour. Good flowery hop character. Quite aromatic. Strong citric hop character carries through to the palate. Fresh and crisp with a modicum of bitterness and a firm mouthfeel. Very good.

Cask @ Edgar Wallace, Temple, London WC2. Pours a golden color wit ha small white head. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy aroma. Sweetish malty citrus hoppy flavor. Has a sweetish malty finish with hoppy citrus in the aftertaste.

Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, citrus, lemon. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20090803]

Cask in the market porter. Alround rating: Pale and honey sweet malt, lemon and grassy hop, floral small lavender character comes through. Fairly clean and drinkable stuff.
