COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An Englishman’s first love is his brown ale. However, in the summer he often fancies blondes instead! With this inspiration, we’ve created Newcastle Bombshell, an English style blonde ale. The combination of Cascade, Hellertau and Northdown hops balance this golden coloured ale’s light aroma and bitterness with toasted malt to ensure a silky smooth finish. After one sip of this brew, we’re sure you’ll agree she’s a real bombshell.

Bottle from Wal-Mart: Poured a light golden pils like color with a miniature topping of frothy foam that quickly fizzed out. Aroma is fragrant with malt that gives off hints of grass and oats. The drink is harsh with sweet malts and almost comes across as a Japanese malt liquor but does have some grainy pilsner like flavors as well. I would have to say I would never buy this again, that’s for sure.

Blonde appearance with decent head. VERY sweet and malty aroma - almost like honey. Flavor and body are lighter, crisp, and grainy, though still sweet. Balanced well with grassy hops. Dang, I liked this much more than I was anticipating - taste exceeding the aroma and palate in particular. A fine golden blonde ale.

12 oz. Clear golden with a lasting cover of cream. Aroma of husky corn, butterscotch, stale apple, and light citrus. Flavor is the same, only has more butter and the corn is lightly scorched. Light-medium body is to the dry side and a little too fizzy.

Bottle: pours a very light golden with a frothy white head. I love the aroma... Sweet, flowery honey. The flavor is crisp and sweet, but with a nice full mouthfeel. I really enjoyed this way more than I thought I would.

Pours clear gold with a large, rothy, white head. Aroma is very light....vanilla, faint lemon. Taste is mild vanilla, honey, toffee. Dry finish. Not too bad at all.

Different. Attractive light golden color with an average head and sweet caramel nose. The malt is light honey and vanilla with a quick, slightly dry pine finish. Not sure categorically where to place this one but not a bad beer.

Bottle thanks to Nustu. Pours a nice golden with a nice white head. It quickly dissapears though along with the aroma. Nose has a lot of toffee and butterscotch and a slight pine from the hops. Taste is less fun with only little of the promised sweetness and an almost soap-like taste. No hops to clear the mouth and you’re left with a strange aftertaste. Body is light to medium with a good carbonation. Not a thing I need to try again.

Bottle thanks to Nustu. Pours golden with a decent creamy white head and the slightest amount of bubbles. The nose has butterscotch and toffee with an astringent maltiness. The taste has honeycomb and more malt astringency. The palate has a medium body with a creamy texture and unfortunately a cloying finish. Overall, this is very sickly and not really much sign of the hops they were touting.
